1 Chronicles 12
1 And these [are] those coming in unto David to Ziklag, while shut up because of Saul son of Kish, and they [are] among the mighty ones, helping the battle,
यह वह हैं जो सिक़लाज में दाऊद के पास आये जब कि वह हनूज़ क़ीस के बेटे साऊल की वजह से छिपा रहता था, और उन सूर्माओं में थे जो लड़ाई में उसके मददगार थे।
2 armed with bow, right and left handed, with stones, and with arrows, with bows, of the brethren of Saul, of Benjamin.
उनके पास कमाने थीं, और वह गु़फान से पत्थर मारते और कमान से तीर चलाते वक़्त दहने और बाएं दोनों हाथों को काम में ला सकते थे और साऊल के बिनयमीनी भाइयों में से थे।
3 The head [is] Ahiezer, and Joash, sons of Shemaab the Gibeathite, and Jeziel, and Pelet, sons of Azmaveth, and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite,
अख़ी'अज़र सरदार था। फिर यूआस बनी समा'आ जिब'आती और यज़ीएल और फ़लत जो अज़मावत के बेटे थे और बराक और याहू 'अन्तोती,
4 and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty one among the thirty, and over the thirty, and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite.
और इसमा'ईया जिबा'ऊनी जो तीसों में सूर्मा और तीसों का सरदार था; और यरमियाह और यहज़ीएल और युहनान और यूज़बा'द जदीराती,
5 Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;
इल'ओज़ी और यरीमोत और बा'लियाह और समरियाह और सफ़तियाह ख़रूफ़ी,
6 Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam the Korhites,
इलक़ाना और यसियाह और 'अज़रिएल और यू'अज़र और यसुबि'आम जो क़ुरही थे।
7 and Joelah, and Zebadiah, sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
और यू'ईला और ज़बदियाह जो यरोहाम जदूरी के बेटे थे।
8 And of the Gadite there have been separated unto David, to the fortress, to the wilderness, mighty of valour, men of the host for battle, setting in array target and buckler, and their faces the face of the lion, and as roes on the mountains for speed:
और जद्दियों में से बहुत से अलग होकर बियाबान के क़िले में दाऊद के पास आ गए; वह ताक़तवर सूर्मा और जंग में माहिर लोग थे, जो ढाल और बर्छी का इस्ते'माल जानते थे। उनकी सूरतें ऐसीं थीं जैसी शेरों की सूरतें और वह पहाड़ों पर हिरनियों की तरह तेज़ दौड़ते थे:
9 Ezer the head, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
अव्वल 'अज़र था, 'अबदियाह दूसरा, इलियाब तीसरा,
10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
मिसमन्ना चौथा, यरमियाह पाँचवाँ,
11 Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
'अत्ती छठा, इलीएल सातवाँ,
12 Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
यूहनान आठवाँ, इलज़बा'द नवाँ,
13 Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
यरमियाह दसवाँ, मकबानी ग्यारहवाँ।
14 These [are] of the sons of Gad, heads of the host, one of a hundred [is] the least, and the greatest, of a thousand;
यह बनी जद्द में सरलश्कर थे। इनमें सबसे छोटा सौ के बराबर और सबसे बड़ा हज़ार के बराबर था।
15 these [are] they who have passed over the Jordan in the first month, — and it is full over all its banks — and cause all [they of] the valley to flee to the east and to the west.
यह वह हैं जो पहले महीने में यरदन के पार गए जब उसके सब किनारे डूबे हुए थे और उन्होंने वादियों के सब लोगों को पूरब और पश्चिम की तरफ़ भगा दिया।
16 And there come of the sons of Benjamin and Judah unto the stronghold to David,
बनी बिनयमीन और यहूदाह में से कुछ लोग क़िले' में दाऊद के पास आये।
17 and David goeth out before them, and answereth and saith to them, 'If for peace ye have come in unto me, to help me, I have a heart to unite with you; and if to betray me to mine adversaries — without violence in my hands — the God of our fathers doth see and reprove.'
तब दाऊद उनके इस्तक़बाल को निकला और उनसे कहने लगा, “अगर तुम नेक नियती से मेरी मदद के लिए मेरे पास आये हो तो मेरा दिल तुमसे मिला रहेगा लेकिन अगर मुझे मेरे दुश्मनों के हाथ में पकड़वाने आये हो हालाँकि मेरा हाथ ज़ुल्म से पाक है तो हमारे बाप दादा का ख़ुदा यह देखे और मलामत करे।”
18 And the Spirit hath clothed Amasai, head of the captains: 'To thee, O David, and with thee, O son of Jesse — peace! peace to thee, and peace to thy helper, for thy God hath helped thee;' and David receiveth them, and putteth them among the heads of the troop.
तब रूह 'अमासी पर नाज़िल हुई और जो उन तीसों का सरदार था और वह कहने लगा, “हम तेरे हैं, ऐ दाऊद! और हम तेरी तरफ़ हैं, ऐ यस्सी के बेटे! सलामती तेरी सलामती, और तेरे मददगारों की सलामती हो, क्यूँकि तेरा ख़ुदा तेरी मदद करता है।” तब दाऊद ने उनको क़ुबूल किया और उनको फ़ौज का सरदार बनाया।
19 And of Manasseh there have fallen unto David in his coming with the Philistines against Israel to battle — and they helped them not, for by counsel the princes of the Philistines sent him away, saying, 'With our heads he doth fall unto his master Saul.' —
और मनस्सी में से कुछ लोग दाऊद से मिल गए जब वह साऊल के मुक़ाबिल जंग के लिए फ़िलिस्तियों के साथ निकला, लेकिन उन्होंने उनकी मदद न की क्यूँकि फ़िलिस्तियों के हाकिमों ने सलाह कर के उसे लौटा दिया और कहने लगे कि वह हमारे सिर काटकर अपने आक़ा साऊल से जा मिलेगा।
20 In his going unto Ziglag there have fallen unto him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillthai, heads of the thousands that [are] of Manasseh;
जब वह सिक़लाज को जा रहा था मनस्सी में से 'अदना और यूज़बा'द और यदी'एल और मीकाएल और यूज़बा'द और इलीहू और ज़िलती जो बनी मनस्सी में हज़ारों के सरदार थे उससे मिल गए।
21 and they have helped with David over the troop, for mighty of valour [are] all of them, and they are captains in the host,
उन्होंने ग़ारतगरों के जत्थे के मुक़ाबिले में दाऊद की मदद की क्यूँकि वह सब ताक़तवर सूर्मा और लश्कर के सरदार थे।
22 for at that time, day by day, they come in unto David to help him, till it is a great camp, like a camp of God.
बल्कि रोज़ — ब — रोज़ लोग दाऊद के पास उसकी मदद को आते गए, यहाँ तक कि ख़ुदा की फ़ौज की तरह एक बड़ी फ़ौज तैयार हो गयी।
23 And these [are] the numbers of the head, of the armed men of the host; they have come in unto David to Hebron to turn round the kingdom of Saul unto him, according to the mouth of Jehovah.
और जो लोग जंग के लिए हथियार बाँध कर हबरून में दाऊद के पास आये ताकि ख़ुदावन्द की बात के मुताबिक़ साऊल की ममलुकत को उसकी तरफ़ बदल दें, उनका शुमार यह है।
24 The sons of Judah, bearing target and spear, [are] six thousand and eight hundred, armed ones of the host.
बनी यहूदाह छ: हज़ार आठ सौ, जो ढाल और नेज़ा लिए हुए जंग के लिए तैयार थे।
25 Of the sons of Simeon, mighty ones of valour for the host, [are] seven thousand and a hundred.
बनी शमौन में से जंग के ले लिए सात हज़ार एक सौ ताक़तवर सूर्मा'
26 Of the sons of Levi [are] four thousand and six hundred;
बनी लावी में से चार हज़ार छ: सौ।
27 and Jehoiada [is] the leader of the Aaronite, and with him [are] three thousand and seven hundred,
और यहूयदा' हारून के घराने का सरदार था और उसके साथ तीन हज़ार सात सौ थे।
28 and Zadok, a young man, mighty of valour, and of the house of his father [are] twenty and two heads.
और सदोक़, एल जवान सूर्मा और उसके आबाई घराने के बाइस सरदार।
29 And of the sons of Benjamin, brethren of Saul, [are] three thousand, and hitherto their greater part are keeping the charge of the house of Saul.
और साऊल के भाई बनी बिनयमीन में से तीन हज़ार लेकिन उस वक़्त तक उनका बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा साऊल के घराने का तरफ़दार था।
30 And of the sons of Ephraim [are] twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty of valour, men of name, according to the house of their fathers.
और बनी इफ़्राईम में से बीस हज़ार आठ सौ ताक़तवर सूर्मा जो अपने आबाई ख़ानदानों में नामी आदमी थे।
31 And of the half of the tribe of Manasseh [are] eighteen thousand, who have been defined by name, to come in to cause David to reign.
और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले से अठारह हज़ार, जिनके नाम बताये गए थे कि अगर दाऊद को बादशाह बनायें।
32 And of the sons of Issachar, having understanding for the times, to know what Israel should do; their heads [are] two hundred, and all their brethren [are] at their command.
और बनी इश्कार में से ऐसे लोग जो ज़माने को समझते और जानते थे कि इस्राईल को क्या करना मुनासिब है उनके सरदार दो सौ थे और उनके सब भाई उनके हुक्म में थे।
33 Of Zebulun, going forth to the host, arranging battle with all instruments of battle, [are] fifty thousand, and keeping rank without a double heart.
और ज़बूलून में से ऐसे लोग मैदान में जाने और हर क़िस्म की जंगी हथियार के साथ मैदान ए जंग के क़ाबिल थे, पचास हज़ार। यह सफ़आराई करना जानते थे और दो दिले न थे।
34 And of Naphtali, a thousand heads, and with them, with target and spear, [are] thirty and seven thousand.
और नफ़्ताली में से एक हज़ार सरदार और उनके साथ सैंतीस हज़ार ढालें और भाले लिए हुए।
35 And of the Danite, arranging battle, [are] twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
और दानियों में से अट्ठाईस हज़ार छ: सौ मैदान ए जंग करने वाले।
36 And of Asher, going forth to the host, to arrange battle, [are] forty thousand.
और आशर में से चालीस हज़ार जो मैदान में जाने और मा'रका आराई के क़ाबिल थे।
37 And from beyond the Jordan, of the Reubenite, and of the Gadite, and of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, with all instruments of the host for battle, [are] a hundred and twenty thousand.
और यरदन के पार के रुबीनियों और जद्दियों और मनस्सी के आधे क़बीले में से एक लाख बीस हज़ार जिनके साथ लड़ाई के लिए हर क़िस्म के जंगी हथियार थे।
38 All these [are] men of war, keeping rank — with a perfect heart they have come to Hebron, to cause David to reign over all Israel, and also all the rest of Israel [are] of one heart, to cause David to reign,
यह सब जंगी मर्द जो मैदान ए जंग कर सकते थे ख़ुलूस — ए — दिल से हबरून को आये ताकि दाऊद को सारे इस्राईल का बादशाह बनायें और बाक़ी सब इस्राईली भी दाऊद को बादशाह बनाने पर रज़ामंद थे।
39 and they are there, with David, three days, eating and drinking, for their brethren have prepared for them.
और वह वहाँ दाऊद के साथ तीन दिन तक ठहरे और खाते पीते रहे, क्यूँकि उनके भाइयों ने उनके लिए तैयारी की थी।
40 And also those near unto them, unto Issachar, and Zebulun, and Naphtali, are bringing in bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen — food of fine flour, fig-cakes and grape-cakes, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep, in abundance, for joy [is] in Israel.
इसकेअलावा इनके जो उनके क़रीब के थे बल्कि इश्कार और ज़बूलून और नफ़्ताली तक के लोग गधों और ऊँटों और ख़च्चरों और बैलों पर रोटियाँ और मैदे की बनी हुई खाने की चीज़ें और अंजीर की टिकियाँ। और किशमिश के गुच्छे और शराब और तेल लादे हुए और बैल और भेड़ बकरियाँ इफ़रात से लाये इसलिए कि इस्राईल में ख़ुशी थी।
