Titus 2
1 But speke thou tho thingis that bisemen hoolsum teching;
Inakupasa kufundisha itikadi sahihi.
2 that elde men be sobre, chast, prudent, hool in feith, in loue, and pacience;
Wafundishe wazee kuwa na kiasi, wastahivu, wenye busara na wanyofu katika imani, upendo na saburi.
3 also olde wymmen in hooli abite, not sclaundereris, not seruynge myche to wyn, wel techynge, that thei teche prudence.
Vivyo hivyo, wafundishe wanawake wazee kuwa na mwenendo wa utakatifu, wala wasiwe wasingiziaji au walevi, bali wafundishe yale yaliyo mema,
4 Moneste thou yonge wymmen, that thei loue here hosebondis, that thei loue her children;
ili waweze kuwafundisha wanawake vijana kuwa na kiasi, wawapende waume zao na kuwapenda watoto wao,
5 and that thei be prudent, chast, sobre, hauynge cure of the hous, benygne, suget to her hosebondis, that the word of God be not blasfemyd.
wawe waaminifu, watakatifu, wakitunza vyema nyumba zao, wema, watiifu kwa waume zao, ili mtu yeyote asije akalikufuru neno la Mungu.
6 Also moneste thou yonge men, that thei be sobre.
Vivyo hivyo, himiza vijana wawe na kiasi.
7 In alle thingis yyue thi silf ensaumple of good werkis, in teching, in hoolnesse, in sadnesse.
Katika kila jambo uwe kielelezo kwa kutenda mema. Katika mafundisho yako uonyeshe uadilifu, utaratibu,
8 An hoolsum word, and vnrepreuable; that he that is of the contrarie side, be aschamed, hauynge noon yuel thing to seie of you.
na usemi sahihi usio na lawama, ili wanaokupinga watahayari, wakose neno lolote baya la kusema juu yetu.
9 Moneste thou seruauntis to be suget to her lordis; in alle thingis plesinge, not ayenseiynge, not defraudynge,
Wafundishe watumwa kuwatii mabwana zao katika kila jambo, wakijitahidi kuwapendeza wala wasijibizane nao,
10 but in alle thingis schewinge good feith, that thei onoure in alle thingis the doctryn of `God, oure sauyour.
wala wasiwaibie, bali waonyeshe kuwa wanaweza kuaminika kabisa, ili kwa kila namna wayafanye mafundisho ya Mungu Mwokozi wetu yawe ya kuvutia.
11 For the grace of `God, oure sauyour, hath apperid to alle men,
Kwa maana neema ya Mungu ambayo inawaokoa wanadamu wote imefunuliwa.
12 and tauyte vs, that we forsake wickidnesse, and worldli desyris, lyue sobreli, and iustli, `and piteuousli in this world, (aiōn g165)
Nayo yatufundisha kukataa ubaya na tamaa za kidunia, ili tupate kuishi maisha ya kiasi, ya haki na ya utaua katika ulimwengu huu wa sasa, (aiōn g165)
13 abidinge the blessid hope and the comyng of the glorie of the greet God, and of oure sauyour Jhesu Crist;
huku tukilitazamia tumaini lenye baraka na ufunuo wa utukufu wa Mungu wetu Mkuu, aliye Mwokozi wetu Yesu Kristo.
14 that yaf hym silf for vs, to ayenbie vs fro al wickidnesse, and make clene to hym silf a puple acceptable, and suere of good werkis.
Ndiye alijitoa nafsi yake kwa ajili yetu, ili atukomboe kutoka uovu wote na kujisafishia watu kuwa mali yake Mwenyewe, yaani, wale walio na juhudi katika kutenda mema.
15 Speke thou these thingis, and moneste thou, and repreue thou with al comaundement; no man dispise thee.
Basi wewe fundisha mambo haya. Onya na kukaripia kwa mamlaka yote. Mtu yeyote asikudharau.
