Revelation 11
1 And a reed lijk a yerde was youun to me, and it was seid to me, Rise thou, and meete the temple of God, and the auter, and men that worschipen in it.
Foi-me dada uma vara de medir {[Um anjo ]me [deu ]uma vara de medir, semelhante a uma bengala}. Ele [me ]disse: “[Cristo diz o seguinte: „Vá ]ao templo [onde o povo adora ]a Deus, tire as medidas dele e do altar [lá dentro ]e conte os adoradores ali.
2 But caste thou out the foryerd, that is with out the temple, and mete not it; for it is youun to hethene men, and thei schulen defoule the hooli citee bi fourti monethis and tweyne.
Mas não tire as medidas do pátio externo [do templo ][DOU], pois ele foi dado {[Deus ]o entregou} [ao povo ]não judeu/gentio. [Consequentemente], eles espezinharão [a cidade de ]Jerusalém durante quarenta e dois meses.
3 And Y schal yyue `to my twey witnessis, and thei schulen prophesie a thousynde daies two hundrid and sixti, and schulen be clothid with sackis.
Eu nomearei minhas duas testemunhas. Elas falarão em meu nome durante 1.260 dias. Elas vestirão roupas [ásperas ]feitas de pele de cabra [para mostrar a sua tristeza por causa do pecado do povo‟”. ]
4 These ben tweyne olyues, and twei candilstikis, and thei stonden in the siyt of the Lord of the erthe.
Essas [testemunhas são representadas ][SYM] pelas duas oliveiras e os dois castiçais que ficam na presença do Senhor, [que governa ]a terra.
5 And if ony man wole anoye hem, fier schal go out of the mouth of hem, and schal deuoure her enemyes. And if ony wole hirte hem, thus it bihoueth hym to be slayn.
Se alguém tentar fazer mal às [testemunhas], sairá da boca delas fogo que destruirá seus inimigos. Se alguém quiser fazer mal a elas, com certeza ele vai ser morto {com certeza [as duas testemunhas ]vão matá-lo} desta forma.
6 These han power to close heuene, that it reyne not in the daies of her prophesie; and thei han power on watris, to turne hem in to blood; and to smyte the erthe with euery plage, and as ofte as thei wolen.
Estas [testemunhas ]terão autoridade [de Deus ]sobre o céu para impedir a chuva durante o período em que elas estiverem falando em nome de Deus. Elas também terão autoridade [de Deus ]para tornar a água [vermelha como ][MET] sangue [em toda parte ]e [autoridade de Deus ]para ferir a terra com qualquer tipo de praga quantas vezes quiserem.
7 And whanne thei schulen ende her witnessing, the beeste that stieth vp fro depnesse, schal make batel ayens hem, and schal ouercome hem, and schal sle hem. (Abyssos g12)
Ao terminarem de dar testemunho [ao povo], a besta que vem do abismo vai atacá-las, derrotá-las e matá-las. (Abyssos g12)
8 And the bodies of hem schulen ligge in the stretis of the greet citee, that is clepid goostli Sodom, and Egipt, where the Lord of hem was crucified.
Os cadáveres das [duas ]testemunhas ficarão deitadas na rua da grande cidade, chamada simbolicamente de Sodoma ou Egito [por serem seus habitantes tão maus. ]É [naquela cidade ]que o Senhor deles foi crucificado {que as [pessoas ]crucificaram seu Senhor}.
9 And summe of lynagis, and of puplis, and of langagis, and of hethene men, schulen se the bodies of hem bi thre daies and an half; and thei schulen not suffre the bodies of hem to be put in biriels.
Indivíduos de muitos [povos, ]tribos, [comunidades ]linguísticas [MTY] e nações contemplarão seus cadáveres durante três dias e meio. Eles não deixarão que seus corpos sejam enterrados {não deixarão [ninguém ]enterrar os corpos das testemunhas}.
10 And men enhabitynge the erthe schulen haue ioye on hem; and thei schulen make myrie, and schulen sende yiftis togidere, for these twei prophetis turmentiden hem that dwellen on the erthe.
Quando os [rebeldes ]que habitam a terra [entenderem que as testemunhas estão mortas], vão regozijar-se e festejar. Eles mandarão presentes uns aos outros, pois esses dois profetas [mandaram pragas ]que pertubavam os [rebeldes ]que habitam a terra.
11 And aftir thre daies and an half, the spirit of lijf of God entride in to hem; and thei stoden on her feet, and greet dreed felle on hem that sayn hem.
Mas depois de três dias e meio, Deus dará novo hálito aos dois mortos, e eles voltarão a viver. Ficarão em pé. As pessoas que virem isso acontecer ficarão amedrontadas.
12 And thei herden a greet vois fro heuene, seiynge to hem, Come vp hidir. And thei stieden in to heuene in a cloude, and the enemyes of hem sayn hem.
As [duas testemunhas ]ouvirão uma voz bem forte que fala do céu, dizendo-lhes: “Subam para cá!” Elas subirão até o céu em uma nuvem. Seus inimigos as contemplarão no momento [de subirem].
13 And in that our a greet erthe mouyng was maad, and the tenthe part of the citee felle doun; and the names of men seuene thousynde weren slayn in the erthe mouyng; and the tother weren sent in to drede, and yauen glorie to God of heuene.
Nesse mesmo momento haverá um grande terremoto. A décima parte [dos prédios da ][MTY] cidade desabará, e 7.000 pessoas morrerão por causa do terremoto. As demais pessoas terão medo e [confessarão ]que é tremendo o Deus [que governa no ]céu.
14 The secounde wo is gon, and lo! the thridde wo schal come soone.
Será esse o segundo evento horrível. [Saiba que o ]terceiro evento trágico vai acontecer logo.
15 And the seuenthe aungel trumpide, and grete voicis weren maad in heuene, and seiden, The rewme of this world is maad `oure Lordis, and of Crist, his sone; and he schal regne in to worldis of worldis. (aiōn g165)
Então o sétimo anjo tocou a sua trombeta. Vozes no céu bradaram fortes: “Nosso Senhor e o Messias que [ele designou ]governam agora [todos os povos ]do [MTY] mundo, e [Deus ]continuará a governar [todos os povos do mundo ]para sempre!” (aiōn g165)
16 Amen. And the foure and twenti eldre men, that saten in her seetis in the siyt of the Lord, fellen on her faces, and worschipiden God,
Os vinte e quatro anciãos sentados nos seus tronos na presença de Deus se curvaram e O adoraram.
17 and seiden, We don thankyngis to thee, Lord God almyyti, which art, and which were, and which art to comynge; which hast takun thi greet vertu, and hast regned.
Eles disseram: “Senhor Deus, tu és o todo-poderoso, aquele que existe e sempre existiu. Nós te agradecemos teres derrotado com teu poder [todos os que se rebelam contra ti, ] pois agora governas [todos os povos do mundo. ]
18 And folkis ben wrooth, and thi wraththe cam, and tyme of dede men to be demyd, and to yelde mede to thi seruauntis, and prophetis, and halewis, and dredynge thi name, to smale and to grete, and to distrie hem that corrumpiden the erthe.
Os [incrédulos ]das [MTY] nações se zangaram [contigo.] [Consequentemente, ]tu te zangaste [com eles. ] [Determinaste ]ser este o momento apropriado para serem julgados {para julgares} [todos ]os mortos. [Também determinaste ]ser este o momento exato [de ]galardoares a [todos os ]teus servos, [tanto ]os profetas como o restante do teu povo que te cultua, [fossem eles ]de grande ou pouca importância [social. Todos eles!] [Tu determinaste também ser este o momento propício de ]destruíres as pessoas que destroem [outros ]na terra”.
19 And the temple of God in heuene was openyd, and the arke of his testament was seyn in his temple; and leityngis weren maad, and voices, and thondris, and `erthe mouyng, and greet hail.
Então abriu-se o templo de Deus no céu e vi no templo a caixa sagrada que contém a aliança dele. Fuzilaram relâmpagos, rugiram trovões, a terra tremeu e [caiu ]uma grande saraivada [do céu.]
