Revelation 11
1 And a reed lijk a yerde was youun to me, and it was seid to me, Rise thou, and meete the temple of God, and the auter, and men that worschipen in it.
E foi-me dada uma cana semelhante a uma vara: e chegou o anjo, e disse: Levanta-te, e mede o templo de Deus, e o altar, e os que nele adoram.
2 But caste thou out the foryerd, that is with out the temple, and mete not it; for it is youun to hethene men, and thei schulen defoule the hooli citee bi fourti monethis and tweyne.
Porém deixa de fora o átrio que está fora do templo, e não o meças; porque foi dado às nações, e pisarão a santa cidade por quarenta e dois meses.
3 And Y schal yyue `to my twey witnessis, and thei schulen prophesie a thousynde daies two hundrid and sixti, and schulen be clothid with sackis.
E darei poder às minhas duas testemunhas, e profetizarão por mil duzentos e sessenta dias, vestidas de saco.
4 These ben tweyne olyues, and twei candilstikis, and thei stonden in the siyt of the Lord of the erthe.
Estas são as duas oliveiras e os dois castiçais que estão diante do Deus da terra.
5 And if ony man wole anoye hem, fier schal go out of the mouth of hem, and schal deuoure her enemyes. And if ony wole hirte hem, thus it bihoueth hym to be slayn.
E, se alguém os quizer empecer, fogo sairá da sua boca, e devorará os seus inimigos: e, se alguém quizer empece-los, importa que assim seja morto.
6 These han power to close heuene, that it reyne not in the daies of her prophesie; and thei han power on watris, to turne hem in to blood; and to smyte the erthe with euery plage, and as ofte as thei wolen.
Estes tem poder para fechar o céu, para que não chova, nos dias da sua profecia; e tem poder sobre as águas para converte-las em sangue, e para ferir a terra com toda a sorte de praga, todas quantas vezes quizerem.
7 And whanne thei schulen ende her witnessing, the beeste that stieth vp fro depnesse, schal make batel ayens hem, and schal ouercome hem, and schal sle hem. (Abyssos g12)
E, quando acabarem o seu testemunho, a besta que sobe do abismo lhes fará guerra, e os vencerá, e os matará. (Abyssos g12)
8 And the bodies of hem schulen ligge in the stretis of the greet citee, that is clepid goostli Sodom, and Egipt, where the Lord of hem was crucified.
E jazerão os seus corpos mortos na praça da grande cidade que espiritualmente se chama Sodoma e Egito, onde nosso Senhor também foi crucificado.
9 And summe of lynagis, and of puplis, and of langagis, and of hethene men, schulen se the bodies of hem bi thre daies and an half; and thei schulen not suffre the bodies of hem to be put in biriels.
E homens de vários povos, e tribos, e línguas, e nações verão seus corpos mortos por três dias e meio, e não permitirão que os seus corpos mortos sejam postos em sepulcros.
10 And men enhabitynge the erthe schulen haue ioye on hem; and thei schulen make myrie, and schulen sende yiftis togidere, for these twei prophetis turmentiden hem that dwellen on the erthe.
E os que habitam na terra se regozijarão sobre eles, e se alegrarão, e mandarão presentes uns aos outros; porquanto estes dois profetas tinham atormentado os que habitam sobre a terra.
11 And aftir thre daies and an half, the spirit of lijf of God entride in to hem; and thei stoden on her feet, and greet dreed felle on hem that sayn hem.
E depois daqueles três dias e meio o espírito da vida, vindo de Deus, entrou neles; e puseram-se sobre seus pés, e caiu grande temor sobre os que os viram.
12 And thei herden a greet vois fro heuene, seiynge to hem, Come vp hidir. And thei stieden in to heuene in a cloude, and the enemyes of hem sayn hem.
E ouviram uma grande voz do céu, que lhes dizia: Subi cá. E subiram ao céu em uma nuvem: e os seus inimigos os viram.
13 And in that our a greet erthe mouyng was maad, and the tenthe part of the citee felle doun; and the names of men seuene thousynde weren slayn in the erthe mouyng; and the tother weren sent in to drede, and yauen glorie to God of heuene.
E naquela mesma hora houve um grande terremoto, e caiu a décima parte da cidade, e no terremoto foram mortos sete mil homens; e os demais ficaram muito atemorizados, e deram glória ao Deus do céu.
14 The secounde wo is gon, and lo! the thridde wo schal come soone.
É passado o segundo ai; eis que o terceiro ai vem presto.
15 And the seuenthe aungel trumpide, and grete voicis weren maad in heuene, and seiden, The rewme of this world is maad `oure Lordis, and of Crist, his sone; and he schal regne in to worldis of worldis. (aiōn g165)
E tocou o sétimo anjo a sua trombeta, e houve no céu grandes vozes, que diziam: Os reinos do mundo tornaram-se no reino de nosso Senhor e do seu Cristo, e ele reinará para todo o sempre. (aiōn g165)
16 Amen. And the foure and twenti eldre men, that saten in her seetis in the siyt of the Lord, fellen on her faces, and worschipiden God,
E os vinte e quatro anciãos, que estão assentados em seus tronos diante de Deus, prostraram-se sobre seus rostos, e adoraram a Deus,
17 and seiden, We don thankyngis to thee, Lord God almyyti, which art, and which were, and which art to comynge; which hast takun thi greet vertu, and hast regned.
Dizendo: Graças te damos, Senhor Deus Todo-poderoso, que és, e que eras, e que as de vir, que tomaste o teu grande poder, e reinaste.
18 And folkis ben wrooth, and thi wraththe cam, and tyme of dede men to be demyd, and to yelde mede to thi seruauntis, and prophetis, and halewis, and dredynge thi name, to smale and to grete, and to distrie hem that corrumpiden the erthe.
E iraram-se as nações, e veio a tua ira, e o tempo dos mortos, para que sejam julgados, e para dares o galardão aos profetas, teus servos, e aos santos, e aos que temem o teu nome, a pequenos e a grandes, e para destruir os que destroem a terra.
19 And the temple of God in heuene was openyd, and the arke of his testament was seyn in his temple; and leityngis weren maad, and voices, and thondris, and `erthe mouyng, and greet hail.
E abriu-se no céu o templo de Deus, e a arca do seu concerto foi vista no seu templo; e houve relâmpagos, e vozes, e trovões, e terremotos e grande saraiva.
