Psalms 99

1 The Lord hath regned, puplis ben wrooth; thou that sittist on cherubyn, the erthe be moued.

O Senhor reina; tremam as nações: está assentado entre os cherubins; commova-se a terra.

2 The Lord is greet in Sion; and hiy aboue alle puplis.

O Senhor é grande em Sião, e mais alto do que todas as nações.

3 Knouleche thei to thi greet name, for it is ferdful and hooli;

Louvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo, pois é sancto.

4 and the onour of the king loueth doom. Thou hast maad redi dressyngis; thou hast maad doom and riytfulnesse in Jacob.

Tambem o poder do Rei ama o juizo: tu firmas a equidade, fazes juizo e justiça em Jacob.

5 Enhaunse ye oure Lord God; and worschipe ye the stool of hise feet, for it is hooli.

Exaltae ao Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrae-vos diante do escabello de seus pés, pois é sancto.

6 Moises and Aaron weren among hise preestis; and Samuel was among hem that inwardli clepen his name. Thei inwardli clepiden the Lord, and he herde hem;

Moysés e Aarão, entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e Elle os ouvia.

7 in a piler of cloude he spak to hem. Thei kepten hise witnessyngis; and the comaundement which he yaf to hem.

Na columna de nuvem lhes fallava: elles guardavam os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.

8 Oure Lord God, thou herdist hem; God, thou were merciful to hem, and thou tokist veniaunce on al her fyndyngis.

Tu os escutaste, Senhor nosso Deus: tu foste um Deus que lhes perdoaste, ainda que tomaste vingança dos seus feitos.

9 Enhaunse ye oure Lord God, and worschipe ye in his hooli hil; for oure Lord God is hooli.

Exaltae ao Senhor nosso Deus e adorae-o no seu monte sancto, pois o Senhor nosso Deus é sancto.
