Psalms 98

1 Singe ye a newe song to the Lord; for he hath do merueils. His riyt hond and his hooli arm; hath maad heelthe to hym.

Psaume. Chantez à Yahweh un cantique nouveau, car il a fait des prodiges; sa droite et son bras saints lui ont donné la victoire.

2 The Lord hath maad knowun his heelthe; in the siyt of hethene men he hath schewid his riytfulnesse.

Yahweh a manifesté son salut, il a révélé sa justice aux yeux des nations.

3 He bithouyte on his merci; and on his treuthe, to the hous of Israel. Alle the endis of erthe; sien the heelthe of oure God.

Il s'est souvenu de sa bonté et de sa fidélité envers la maison d'Israël; toutes les extrémités de la terre ont vu le salut de notre Dieu.

4 Al erthe, make ye hertli ioye to God; synge ye, and make ye ful out ioye, and seie ye salm.

Poussez vers Yahweh des cris de joie, vous, habitants de toute la terre, faites éclater votre allégresse au son des instruments!

5 Singe ye to the Lord in an harpe, in harpe and vois of salm;

Célébrez Yahweh sur la harpe, sur la harpe et au son des cantiques!

6 in trumpis betun out with hamer, and in vois of a trumpe of horn. Hertli synge ye in the siyt of the Lord, the king; the see and the fulnesse therof be moued;

Avec les trompettes et au son du cor, poussez des cris de joie devant le Roi Yahweh!

7 the world, and thei that dwellen therynne.

Que la mer s'agite avec tout ce qu'elle renferme, que la terre et ses habitants fassent éclater leurs transports.

8 Flodis schulen make ioie with hond, togidere hillis schulen make ful out ioye, for siyt of the Lord;

Que les fleuves applaudissent, qu'ensemble les montagnes poussent des cris de joie,

9 for he cometh to deme the erthe. He schal deme the world in riytfulnesse; and puplis in equite.

devant Yahweh — car il vient pour juger la terre; il jugera le monde avec justice, et les peuples avec équité.
