< Psalms 90 >
1 The preier of Moises, the man of God. Lord, thou art maad help to vs; fro generacioun in to generacioun.
A prayer of Moses [the] man of God O Lord a dwelling place you you have been of us in a generation and a generation.
2 Bifore that hillis weren maad, ether the erthe and the world was formed; fro the world and in to the world thou art God.
Before - mountains they were born and you brought forth [the] earth and [the] world and from antiquity until perpetuity you [are] God.
3 Turne thou not awei a man in to lownesse; and thou seidist, Ye sones of men, be conuertid.
You return humankind to crushed matter and you said return O children of humankind.
4 For a thousynde yeer ben bifore thin iyen; as yistirdai, which is passid, and as keping in the niyt.
For a thousand years in view your [are] like a day of yesterday that it passes and a watch in the night.
5 The yeeris of hem schulen be; that ben had for nouyt.
You flood them sleep they are in the morning like grass [which] it sprouts up.
6 Eerli passe he, as an eerbe, eerli florische he, and passe; in the euentid falle he doun, be he hard, and wexe drie.
In the morning it flourishes and it sprouts up to the evening it withers and it dries up.
7 For we han failid in thin ire; and we ben disturblid in thi strong veniaunce.
For we come to an end in anger your and by rage your we are terrified.
8 Thou hast set oure wickidnessis in thi siyt; oure world in the liytning of thi cheer.
(You set *Q(k)*) iniquities our to before you concealed [sins] our to [the] light of face your.
9 For alle oure daies han failid; and we han failid in thin ire. Oure yeris schulen bithenke, as an yreyn;
For all days our they turn in fury your we finish years our like a sigh.
10 the daies of oure yeeris ben in tho seuenti yeeris. Forsothe, if fourescoor yeer ben in myyti men; and the more tyme of hem is trauel and sorewe. For myldenesse cam aboue; and we schulen be chastisid.
[the] days of Years our in them [are] seventy year[s] and if by strength - eighty year[s] and pride their [is] toil and trouble for it passes away quickly and we flew away!
11 Who knew the power of thin ire; and durste noumbre thin ire for thi drede?
Who? [is] knowing [the] strength of anger your and [is] like fear your fury your.
12 Make thi riythond so knowun; and make men lerned in herte bi wisdom.
To count days our thus teach [us] so we may bring a heart of wisdom.
13 Lord, be thou conuertid sumdeel; and be thou able to be preied on thi seruauntis.
Return! O Yahweh until when? and have compassion on servants your.
14 We weren fillid eerli with thi merci; we maden ful out ioye, and we delitiden in alle oure daies.
Satisfy us in the morning covenant loyalty your so let us shout for joy and let us rejoice in all days our.
15 We weren glad for the daies in whiche thou madist vs meke; for the yeeris in whiche we siyen yuels.
Make rejoice us according to [the] days [which] you afflicted us [the] years [which] we saw trouble.
16 Lord, biholde thou into thi seruauntis, and in to thi werkis; and dresse thou the sones of hem.
May it appear to servants your deed[s] your and majesty your to children their.
17 And the schynyng of oure Lord God be on vs; and dresse thou the werkis of oure hondis on vs, and dresse thou the werk of oure hondis.
And let it be - [the] kindness of [the] Lord God our towards us and [the] work of hands our establish! on us and [the] work of hands our establish it.
