Psalms 87

1 `The salm of the song of the sones of Chore. The foundementis therof ben in hooli hillis;

Synom Korego psalm i pieśń. Fundament jego jest na górach świętych.

2 the Lord loueth the yatis of Sion, more than alle the tabernaclis of Jacob.

Umiłował Pan bramy Syońskie nad wszystkie przybytki Jakóbowe.

3 Thou citee of God, with outen ende; gloriouse thingis ben seide of thee.

Sławne o tobie rzeczy powiadają, o miasto Boże! (Sela)

4 I schal be myndeful of Raab, and Babiloyne; knowynge me. Lo! aliens, and Tyre, and the puple of Ethiopiens; thei weren there.

Wspomnę na Egipt, i na Babilon przed swymi znajomymi; oto i Filistyńczycy, i Tyryjczycy, i Murzyni rzeką, że się tu każdy z nich urodził.

5 Whether a man schal seie to Sion, And a man is born ther ynne; and that man altherhiyeste foundide it?

Także i o Syonie mówić będą: Ten i ów urodził się w nim; a sam Najwyższy ugruntuje go.

6 The Lord schal telle in the scripturis of puplis; and of these princis, that weren ther ynne.

Pan policzy narody, gdy je popisywać będzie, mówiąc: Ten się tu urodził. (Sela)

7 As the dwellyng `of alle that ben glad; is in thee.

Przetoż o tobie śpiewać będą z pląsaniem wszystkie siły żywota mego.
