Psalms 87

1 `The salm of the song of the sones of Chore. The foundementis therof ben in hooli hillis;

उहाँले स्थापित गर्नुभएको सहर पवित्र पर्वतमा खडा छ ।

2 the Lord loueth the yatis of Sion, more than alle the tabernaclis of Jacob.

याकूबका सबै पालभन्दा धेरै पमरप्रभुले सियोनको ढोकाहरूलाई नै मन पराउनुहुन्छ ।

3 Thou citee of God, with outen ende; gloriouse thingis ben seide of thee.

हे परमेश्‍वरको सहर, तेरो बारेमा महिमित कुराहरू भनिएको छ । सेला

4 I schal be myndeful of Raab, and Babiloyne; knowynge me. Lo! aliens, and Tyre, and the puple of Ethiopiens; thei weren there.

“मेरा अनुसरण गर्नेहरूलाई म राहाब र बेबिलिन उल्लेख गर्छु । हेर, कूशसँगै पलिश्ति र टुरोस छन्, र भन्‍नेछन् 'यो त्यहाँ जन्मियो' ।”

5 Whether a man schal seie to Sion, And a man is born ther ynne; and that man altherhiyeste foundide it?

सियोनको बारेमा यसो भनिनेछ, “यिमध्‍ये हरेक त्‍यहाँ जन्मेका थियो । अनि सर्वोच्‍चले नै त्यसलाई स्थापित गर्नुहुनेछ ।”

6 The Lord schal telle in the scripturis of puplis; and of these princis, that weren ther ynne.

परमप्रभुले जातिहरूका जनगणनाका पुस्तकमा लेख्‍नुहुन्छ, “यो त्‍यहाँ जन्मेको थियो ।” सेला

7 As the dwellyng `of alle that ben glad; is in thee.

त्यसैले पनि गायकहरू र नाच्‍नेहरूले पनि मिलेर भन्‍छन्, “मेरा सबै मूलहरू तँमा छन् ।”
