Psalms 85
1 Of the sones of Chore. Lord, thou hast blessid thi lond; thou hast turned awei the caitifte of Jacob.
Для дириґента хору. Синів Коре́євих. Псалом. Ти вподо́бав Собі Свою землю, о Го́споди, долю Якову Ти поверну́в,
2 Thou hast foryoue the wickidnesse of thi puple; thou hast hilid alle the synnes of hem.
Ти провину наро́ду Свого прости́в, увесь гріх їхній покри́в! (Се́ла)
3 Thou hast aswagid al thin ire; thou hast turned awei fro the ire of thin indignacioun.
Ти гнів Свій увесь занеха́в, Ти повстри́мав Свій гнів від палю́чої лю́тости!
4 God, oure helthe, conuerte thou vs; and turne awei thin ire fro vs.
Поверни нас до Себе, о Боже нашого спасі́ння, а Свій гнів проти нас поторо́щ!
5 Whether thou schalt be wrooth to vs withouten ende; ether schalt thou holde forth thin ire fro generacioun in to generacioun?
Чи навіки Ти гні́ватись будеш на нас, і протя́гнеш Свій гнів з роду в рід?
6 God, thou conuertid schalt quykene vs; and thi puple schal be glad in thee.
Отож, Ти ожи́виш нас зно́ву, — і буде радіти наро́д Твій Тобою!
7 Lord, schewe thi merci to vs; and yyue thin helthe to vs.
Покажи нам, о Господи, милість Свою, і подай нам спасі́ння Своє,
8 I schal here what the Lord God schal speke in me; for he schal speke pees on his puple. And on hise hooli men; and on hem that ben turned to herte.
нехай я почую, що каже Бог, Господь, бо говорить Він „Мир!“наро́дові Своєму й Своїм святим, і нехай до безу́мства вони не верта́ються!
9 Netheles his helthe is niy men dredynge him; that glorie dwelle in oure lond.
Справді, спасі́ння Його близьке́ тим, хто боїться Його, щоб слава Його́ була в нашій землі.
10 Merci and treuthe metten hem silf; riytwisnesse and pees weren kissid.
Милість та правда спіткаються, справедливість та мир поцілуються,
11 Treuthe cam forth of erthe; and riytfulnesse bihelde fro heuene.
правда з землі вироста́є, а справедливість із небе́с визира́є.
12 For the Lord schal yyue benignyte; and oure erthe schal yyue his fruyt.
І Господь дасть добро, а земля наша дасть урожай свій.
13 Riytfulnesse schal go bifore him; and schal sette hise steppis in the weie.
Справедливість ходитиме перед обличчям Його, і кро́ки свої на дорогу поставить.
