Psalms 85
1 Of the sones of Chore. Lord, thou hast blessid thi lond; thou hast turned awei the caitifte of Jacob.
Salmo para o regente, dos filhos de Coré: Foste favorável, ó SENHOR, à tua terra; restauraste Jacó de seu infortúnio.
2 Thou hast foryoue the wickidnesse of thi puple; thou hast hilid alle the synnes of hem.
Perdoaste a perversidade de teu povo; encobriste todos os seus pecados. (Selá)
3 Thou hast aswagid al thin ire; thou hast turned awei fro the ire of thin indignacioun.
Removeste toda a tua indignação; do ardor de tua ira te desviaste.
4 God, oure helthe, conuerte thou vs; and turne awei thin ire fro vs.
Restaura-nos, ó Deus de nossa salvação; e cessa tua ira de sobre nós.
5 Whether thou schalt be wrooth to vs withouten ende; ether schalt thou holde forth thin ire fro generacioun in to generacioun?
Acaso estarás irado contra nós para sempre? Estenderás a tua ira de geração em geração?
6 God, thou conuertid schalt quykene vs; and thi puple schal be glad in thee.
Não voltará a dar-nos vida, para que o teu povo se alegre em ti?
7 Lord, schewe thi merci to vs; and yyue thin helthe to vs.
Mostra-nos tua bondade, SENHOR, e dá para nós tua salvação.
8 I schal here what the Lord God schal speke in me; for he schal speke pees on his puple. And on hise hooli men; and on hem that ben turned to herte.
Escutarei o que o Deus, o SENHOR, falar, pois ele falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos seus santos, contanto que não voltem à loucura.
9 Netheles his helthe is niy men dredynge him; that glorie dwelle in oure lond.
Certamente sua salvação está perto daqueles que o temem, para que a glória habite em nossa terra.
10 Merci and treuthe metten hem silf; riytwisnesse and pees weren kissid.
A bondade e a verdade se encontrarão; a justiça e a paz se beijarão.
11 Treuthe cam forth of erthe; and riytfulnesse bihelde fro heuene.
A verdade brotará da terra, e a justiça olhará desde os céus.
12 For the Lord schal yyue benignyte; and oure erthe schal yyue his fruyt.
E o SENHOR também dará o bem; e a nossa terra dará o seu fruto.
13 Riytfulnesse schal go bifore him; and schal sette hise steppis in the weie.
A justiça irá adiante dele, e ele nos porá no caminho de seus passos.
