Psalms 83
1 The song of the salm of Asaph. God, who schal be lijk thee? God, be thou not stille, nether be thou peesid.
«Ωδή Ψαλμού του Ασάφ.» Θεέ, μη σιωπήσης· μη σιγήσης και μη ησυχάσης, Θεέ.
2 For lo! thin enemyes sowneden; and thei that haten thee reisiden the heed.
Διότι, ιδού, οι εχθροί σου θορυβούσι, και οι μισούντές σε ύψωσαν κεφαλήν.
3 Thei maden a wickid counsel on thi puple; and thei thouyten ayens thi seyntis.
Κακήν βουλήν έλαβον κατά του λαού σου και συνεβουλεύθησαν κατά των εκλεκτών σου.
4 Thei seiden, Come ye, and leese we hem fro the folk; and the name of Israel be no more hadde in mynde.
Είπον, Έλθετε, και ας εξολοθρεύσωμεν αυτούς από του να ήναι έθνος· και το όνομα του Ισραήλ ας μη μνημονεύηται πλέον.
5 For thei thouyten with oon acord;
Διότι εκ συμφώνου συνεβουλεύθησαν ομού· συνεμάχησαν κατά σού·
6 the tabernaclis of Ydumeys, and men of Ismael disposiden a testament togidere ayens thee. Moab, and Agarenus, Jebal, and Amon, and Amalech;
αι σκηναί του Εδώμ και οι Ισμαηλίται· ο Μωάβ και οι Αγαρηνοί·
7 alienys with hem that dwellen in Tyre.
Ο Γεβάλ και ο Αμμών και ο Αμαλήκ· οι Φιλισταίοι μετά των κατοικούντων την Τύρον.
8 For Assur cometh with hem; thei ben maad in to help to the sones of Loth.
Και αυτός ο Ασσούρ ηνώθη μετ' αυτών· εβοήθησαν τους υιούς του Λωτ. Διάψαλμα.
9 Make thou to hem as to Madian, and Sisara; as to Jabyn in the stronde of Sison.
Κάμε εις αυτούς ως εις τους Μαδιανίτας, ως εις τον Σισάραν, ως εις τον Ιαβείν εν τω χειμάρρω Κεισών·
10 Thei perischiden in Endor; thei weren maad as a toord of erthe.
οίτινες απωλέσθησαν εν Εν-δώρ· έγειναν κόπρος διά την γην.
11 Putte thou the prynces of hem as Oreb and Zeb; and Zebee and Salmana. Alle the princis of hem, that seiden;
Κάμε τους άρχοντας αυτών ως τον Ωρήβ και ως τον Ζήβ· και ως τον Ζεβεέ και ως τον Σαλμανάν πάντας τους αρχηγούς αυτών·
12 Holde we bi eritage the seyntuarie of God.
οίτινες είπον, Ας κληρονομήσωμεν εις εαυτούς τα κατοικητήρια του Θεού.
13 My God, putte thou hem as a whele; and as stobil bifor the face of the wynde.
Θεέ μου, κάμε αυτούς ως τροχόν, ως άχυρον κατά πρόσωπον ανέμου.
14 As fier that brenneth a wode; and as flawme brynnynge hillis.
Ως το πυρ καίει το δάσος, και ως η φλόξ κατακαίει τα όρη,
15 So thou schalt pursue hem in thi tempeste; and thou schalt disturble hem in thin ire.
ούτω καταδίωξον αυτούς με την ανεμοζάλην σου, και με τον ανεμοστρόβιλον σου κατατρόμαξον αυτούς.
16 Lord, fille thou the faces of hem with schenschipe; and thei schulen seke thi name.
Γέμισον τα πρόσωπα αυτών από ατιμίας, και θέλουσι ζητήσει το όνομά σου, Κύριε.
17 Be thei aschamed, and be thei disturblid in to world of world; and be thei schent and perische thei.
Ας καταισχυνθώσι και ας ταραχθώσι διαπαντός· και ας εντραπώσι και ας απολεσθώσι·
18 And knowe thei, that the Lord is name to thee; thou aloone art the hiyeste in ech lond.
και ας γνωρίσωσιν ότι συ, του οποίου το όνομα είναι Κύριος, είσαι ο μόνος Ύψιστος επί πάσαν την γην.
