Psalms 82

1 Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

Saamu ti Asafu. Ọlọ́run ń ṣàkóso nínú ìpéjọpọ̀ ńlá, ó ṣe ìdájọ́ láàrín àwọn “ọlọ́run òrìṣà”.

2 Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

“Yóò ti pẹ́ tó tí ìwọ yóò máa gbèjà àwọn aláìṣòdodo kí ó sì ṣe ojú ìṣáájú sí àwọn ènìyàn búburú?

3 Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

Gbèjà àwọn aláìlágbára àti aláìní baba; ṣe ìtọ́jú ẹ̀tọ́ àwọn aláìní àti ẹni ìnilára.

4 Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

Gba àwọn aláìlágbára àti aláìní; gbà wọ́n kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ènìyàn búburú.

5 Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

“Wọn kò mọ̀ ohun kankan, wọn kò lóye ohun kankan. Wọn ń rìn kiri nínú òkùnkùn; à si mí gbogbo ìpìlẹ̀ ayé.

6 I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

“Mo wí pé, ‘Ẹyin ní “Ọlọ́run òrìṣà”; ẹ̀yin ní gbogbo ọmọ Ọ̀gá-ògo jùlọ.’

7 But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin ó kú bí ènìyàn lásán; ẹ̀yin ó ṣubú bí ọ̀kan nínú ọmọ-aládé.”

8 Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.

Dìde, Ọlọ́run, ṣe ìdájọ́ ayé, nítorí gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè ni ìní rẹ.
