Psalms 82

1 Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

ख़ुदा की जमा'अत में ख़ुदा मौजूद है। वह इलाहों के बीच 'अदालत करता है:

2 Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

“तुम कब तक बेइन्साफ़ी से 'अदालत करोगे, और शरीरों की तरफ़दारी करोगे? (सिलाह)

3 Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

ग़रीब और यतीम का इन्साफ़ करो, ग़मज़दा और मुफ़लिस के साथ इन्साफ़ से पेश आओ।

4 Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

ग़रीब और मोहताज को बचाओ; शरीरों के हाथ से उनको छुड़ाओ।”

5 Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

वह न तो कुछ जानते हैं न समझते हैं, वह अंधेरे में इधर उधर चलते हैं; ज़मीन की सब बुनियादें हिल गई हैं।

6 I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

मैंने कहा था, “तुम इलाह हो, और तुम सब हक़ता'ला के फ़र्ज़न्द हो;

7 But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

तोभी तुम आदमियों की तरह मरोगे, और 'उमरा में से किसी की तरह गिर जाओगे।”

8 Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.

ऐ ख़ुदा! उठ ज़मीन की 'अदालत कर क्यूँकि तू ही सब क़ौमों का मालिक होगा।
