Psalms 82

1 Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

Um Salmo por Asaph. Deus preside a grande assembléia. Ele julga entre os deuses.

2 Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

“Quanto tempo você julgará injustamente, e mostrar parcialidade para com os ímpios”? (Selah)

3 Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

“Defenda os fracos, os pobres e os órfãos de pai. Manter os direitos dos pobres e oprimidos.

4 Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

Resgatar os fracos e necessitados. Entregue-os da mão dos ímpios”.

5 Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

Eles não sabem, nem entendem. Eles andam para frente e para trás na escuridão. Todas as fundações da terra são abaladas.

6 I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

Eu disse: “Vocês são deuses”, todos vocês são filhos do Altíssimo.

7 But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

No entanto, vocês morrerão como homens, e cair como um dos governantes”.

8 Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.

Levanta-te, Deus, julga a terra, para você herdar todas as nações.
