Psalms 82

1 Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

Psalm Asafowy. Bóg stoi w zgromadzeniu Bożem, a w pośród bogów sądzi i mówi:

2 Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

Dokądże będziecie niesprawiedliwie sądzić, a osoby niezbożników przyjmować? (Sela)

3 Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

Czyńcie sprawiedliwość ubogiemu i sierotce; utrapionego i niedostatecznego usprawiedliwiajcie.

4 Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

Wyrwijcie chudzinę i nędznego, a z ręki niepobożnej wyrwijcie go.

5 Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

Lecz oni nic nie wiedzą, ani rozumieją; w ciemnościach ustawicznie chodzą; zaczem się zachwiały wszystkie grunty ziemi.

6 I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

Jam rzekł: Bogowieście, a synami Najwyższego wy wszyscy jesteście.

7 But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

A wszakże jako i inni ludzie pomrzecie, a jako jeden z książąt upadniecie.

8 Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.

Powstańże, o Boże! a sądź ziemię; albowiem ty dziedzicznie trzymasz wszystkie narody.
