Psalms 82

1 Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; રાગ ગિત્તિથ. આસાફનું (ગીત). ઈશ્વર પવિત્ર સભામાં ઊભા રહે છે; તે દેવો મધ્યે ન્યાય કરે છે.

2 Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

૨તમે ક્યાં સુધી ગેરઇનસાફ કરશો? અને ક્યાં સુધી તમે દુષ્ટો ઉપર વિશેષ કૃપા કરવાનું ચાલુ રાખશો? (સેલાહ)

3 Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

૩ગરીબ તથા અનાથનો ન્યાય કરો; દુ: ખિત અને લાચારને ઇનસાફ આપો.

4 Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

૪ગરીબ તથા જરૂરિયાતમંદોને છોડાવો; તેઓને દુષ્ટોની પકડમાંથી મુક્ત કરો.

5 Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

૫તેઓ જાણતા નથી કે સમજતા નથી; તેઓ અંધકારમાં ભટકતા ફરે છે; પૃથ્વીના તમામ પાયા હાલી ઊઠ્યા છે.

6 I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

૬મેં કહ્યું કે, “તમે દેવો છો અને તમે સર્વ પરાત્પરના દીકરાઓ છો.

7 But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

૭તોપણ તમે માણસની જેમ મૃત્યુ પામશો અને રાજકુમારની જેમ પડશો.”

8 Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.

૮હે ઈશ્વર, ઊઠો, પૃથ્વીનો ન્યાય કરો, કારણ કે તમે સર્વ વિદેશીઓને વારસા તરીકે પામશો.
