Psalms 82

1 Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

Žalm Azafův. Bůh stojí v shromáždění Božím, u prostřed bohů soud čině, a dí:

2 Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

Dokudž souditi budete nespravedlivě, a osoby nešlechetných přijímati? (Sélah)

3 Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

Zastávejte bídného a sirotka, utištěného a chudého spravedliva vyhlašujte.

4 Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

Vytrhněte bídného a nuzného, z ruky nešlechetných vytrhněte ho.

5 Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

Ale nevědí nic, nerozumějí nic; ve tmách ustavně chodí, až se proto všickni základové země pohybují.

6 I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

Řeklť jsem já byl: Bohové jste, a synové Nejvyššího vy všickni;

7 But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

A však jako i jiní lidé zemřete, a jako jeden z knížat padnete.

8 Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.

Povstaniž, ó Bože, suď zemi; nebo ty dědičně vládneš všemi národy.
