Psalms 81
1 To the ouercomer in the pressours of Asaph. Make ye fulli ioye to God, oure helpere; synge ye hertli to God of Jacob.
সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। গিত্তীৎ অনুসারে। আসফের গীত। ঈশ্বর, যিনি আমাদের বল, তাঁর উদ্দেশে আনন্দগান করো; যাকোবের ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশে জয়ধ্বনি করো!
2 Take ye a salm, and yyue ye a tympan; a myrie sautere with an harpe.
সংগীত শুরু করো, খঞ্জনিতে তালি দাও, সুমধুর বীণা আর সুরবাহার বাজাও।
3 Blowe ye with a trumpe in Neomenye; in the noble dai of youre solempnite.
অমাবস্যা ও পূর্ণিমায়, আমাদের উৎসবের দিনে, শিঙার সুদীর্ঘ শব্দ করো;
4 For whi comaundement is in Israel; and doom is to God of Jacob.
ইস্রায়েলের জন্য এই হল ঈশ্বরের রায়, যাকোবের ঈশ্বরের আদেশ।
5 He settide that witnessing in Joseph; whanne he yede out of the lond of Egipt, he herde a langage, which he knew not.
যখন ঈশ্বর মিশরের বিরুদ্ধে অগ্রসর হলেন, তিনি যোষেফের মধ্যে এসব বিধিবিধানরূপে সাক্ষ্য স্থাপন করলেন। আমি এক অচেনা কণ্ঠস্বর শুনতে পেলাম:
6 He turnede a wei his bak fro birthens; hise hondis serueden in a coffyn.
“আমি তাদের কাঁধ থেকে বোঝা সরিয়ে নিলাম; ঝুড়ি থেকে তাদের হাতকে নিষ্কৃতি দেওয়া হল।
7 In tribulacioun thou inwardli clepidist me, and Y delyuerede thee; Y herde thee in the hid place of tempest, Y preuede thee at the water of ayenseiyng.
তোমার সংকটে তুমি প্রার্থনা করলে আর আমি তোমাকে উদ্ধার করলাম, বজ্রবিদ্যুৎসহ মেঘের অন্তরাল থেকে আমি তোমাকে উত্তর দিলাম; মরীবার জলের ধারে আমি তোমাকে পরীক্ষা করলাম।
8 My puple, here thou, and Y schal be witnesse ayens thee;
হে আমার ভক্তেরা, আমার কথা শোনো, আর আমি তোমাদের সতর্ক করব— হে ইস্রায়েল, যদি তুমি আমার কথা শুনতে!
9 Israel, if thou herist me, a fresche God schal not be in thee, and thou schalt not worschipe an alien god.
তোমার মধ্যে আর অন্য কোনও দেবতা রইবে না; আমি ছাড়া আর কোনো দেবতার আরাধনা তুমি করবে না।
10 For Y am thi Lord God, that ladde thee out of the lond of Egipt; make large thi mouth, and Y schal fille it.
আমি সদাপ্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বর, যে তোমাদের মিশর দেশ থেকে বের করে এনেছে। তোমার মুখ বড়ো করে খোলো আর আমি তা পূর্ণ করব।
11 And my puple herde not my vois; and Israel yaue not tente to me.
“কিন্তু আমার লোকেরা আমার কথা শোনেনি; ইস্রায়েল আমার কাছে নিজেকে সমর্পণ করেনি।
12 And Y lefte hem aftir the desiris of her herte; thei schulen go in her fyndyngis.
তাই আমি তাদের একগুঁয়ে হৃদয়ের হাতে তাদের ছেড়ে দিলাম যেন তারা নিজেদের মন্ত্রণায় চলে।
13 If my puple hadde herde me; if Israel hadde go in my weies.
“যদি আমার লোকেরা আমার কথা শুনত, যদি ইস্রায়েল আমার পথ অনুসরণ করত,
14 For nouyt in hap Y hadde maad low her enemyes; and Y hadde send myn hond on men doynge tribulacioun to hem.
কত দ্রুত আমি তাদের শত্রুদের দমন করতাম আর আমার হাত তাদের বিপক্ষদের বিরুদ্ধে তুলতাম!
15 The enemyes of the Lord lieden to hym; and her tyme schal be in to worldis.
যারা সদাপ্রভুকে ঘৃণা করে তারা তাঁর সামনে অবনত হবে, আর তাদের শাস্তি চিরকাল স্থায়ী হবে।
16 And he fedde hem of the fatnesse of whete; and he fillide hem with hony of the stoon.
কিন্তু আমি সর্বোত্তম গম দিয়ে তাদের খাবার জোগাব; আমি শৈলের মধু দিয়ে তাদের তৃপ্ত করব।”
