Psalms 78
1 The lernyng of Asaph. Mi puple, perseyue ye my lawe; bowe youre eere in to the wordis of my mouth.
੧ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਮਸ਼ਕੀਲ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ, ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਨ ਧਰੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੁਖ-ਵਾਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਓ।
2 I schal opene my mouth in parablis; Y schal speke perfite resouns fro the bigynnyng.
੨ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਪੁਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੁਝਾਰਤਾਂ ਉਚਾਰਾਂਗਾ,
3 Hou grete thingis han we herd, aud we han knowe tho; and oure fadris. telden to vs.
੩ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਜਾਤੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ।
4 Tho ben not hid fro the sones of hem; in anothir generacioun. And thei telden the heriyngis of the Lord, and the vertues of hym; and hise merueilis, whyche he dide.
੪ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਕਾਵਾਂਗੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਦੱਸਾਂਗੇ।
5 And he reiside witnessyng in Jacob; and he settide lawe in Israel. Hou grete thingis comaundide he to oure fadris, to make tho knowun to her sones;
੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਖੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਈ, ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਣ,
6 that another generacioun knowe. Sones, that schulen be born, and schulen rise vp; schulen telle out to her sones.
੬ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਓਹ ਬੱਚੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜੰਮਣਗੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਵੀ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਣ,
7 That thei sette her hope in God, and foryete not the werkis of God; and that thei seke hise comaundementis.
੭ਕਿ ਓਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਸ਼ਾ ਰੱਖਣ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਭੁੱਲਣ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ,
8 Lest thei be maad a schrewid generacioun; and terrynge to wraththe, as the fadris of hem. A generacioun that dresside not his herte; and his spirit was not bileued with God.
੮ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ, ਇੱਕ ਕੱਬੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਜਿਸ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਕਾਇਮ ਨਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
9 The sones of Effraym, bendinge a bouwe and sendynge arowis; weren turned in the dai of batel.
੯ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਤਰ ਧਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਆਈ।
10 Thei kepten not the testament of God; and thei nolden go in his lawe.
੧੦ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਂਹ ਕੀਤੀ।
11 And thei foryaten hise benefices; and hise merueils, whiche he schewide to hem.
੧੧ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕਰਤੱਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਏ ਭੁਲਾ ਬੈਠੇ।
12 He dide merueils bifore the fadris of hem in the loond of Egipt; in the feeld of Taphneos.
੧੨ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸੋਆਨ ਦੀ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।
13 He brak the see, and ledde hem thorou; and he ordeynede the watris as in a bouge.
੧੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਢੇਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
14 And he ledde hem forth in a cloude of the dai; and al niyt in the liytnyng of fier.
੧੪ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਦਲ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਲੋ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।
15 He brak a stoon in deseert; and he yaf watir to hem as in a myche depthe.
੧੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੀਦਾ ਡੁੰਘਿਆਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਿਲਾਇਆ,
16 And he ledde watir out of the stoon; and he ledde forth watris as floodis.
੧੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਢਿੱਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਧਾਰਾਂ ਕੱਢੀਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵਗਾਇਆ।
17 And thei `leiden to yit to do synne ayens hym; thei excitiden hiye God in to ire, in a place with out water.
੧੭ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੀ ਰਹੇ।
18 And thei temptiden God in her hertis; that thei axiden meetis to her lyues.
੧੮ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੁੱਦਿਆ ਲਈ ਭੋਜਨ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
19 And thei spaken yuel of God; thei seiden, Whether God may make redi a bord in desert?
੧੯ਓਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਕੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲੰਗਰ ਦਾ ਅਡੰਬਰ ਰਚ ਸਕੇਗਾ?
20 For he smoot a stoon, and watris flowiden; and streemys yeden out in aboundaunce. Whether also he may yyue breed; ether make redi a bord to his puple?
੨੦ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ, ਪਾਣੀ ਫੁੱਟ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਗ ਪਈਆਂ, ਕੀ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਵੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੇਗਾ? ਨਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਂ ਪਰਸ਼ਾਦ ਵੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵੇਗਾ?
21 Therfor the Lord herde, and delaiede; and fier was kindelid in Jacob, and the ire of God stiede on Israel.
੨੧ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਅੱਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਭੜਕੀ, ਨਾਲੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਪ ਹੋਇਆ,
22 For thei bileueden not in God; nether hopiden in his heelthe.
੨੨ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ।
23 And he comaundide to the cloudis aboue; and he openyde the yatis of heuene.
੨੩ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਗਗਣ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ,
24 And he reynede to hem manna for to eete; and he yaf to hem breed of heuene.
੨੪ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਮੰਨ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਅੰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
25 Man eet the breed of aungels; he sent to hem meetis in aboundance.
੨੫ਬਲਵੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੇ ਖਾਧੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰੱਜਵੀਂ ਰੋਟੀ ਭੇਜੀ।
26 He turnede ouere the south wynde fro heuene; and he brouyte in bi his vertu the weste wynde.
੨੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਰੇ ਦੀ ਹਵਾ ਵਗਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਹਵਾ ਚਲਾਈ,
27 And he reynede fleischis as dust on hem; and `he reinede volatils fethered, as the grauel of the see.
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੂੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮਹਾਂ ਪਰਸ਼ਾਦ, ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਰੇਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਪੰਖੇਰੂ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਏ,
28 And tho felden doun in the myddis of her castels; aboute the tabernaclis of hem.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਸੇਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਗਿਰਾਏ।
29 And thei eeten, and weren fillid greetli, and he brouyte her desire to hem;
੨੯ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਧਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
30 thei weren not defraudid of her desier. Yit her metis weren in her mouth;
੩੦ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਿਰਸ ਤੋਂ ਹਟੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਅਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸੀ,
31 and the ire of God stiede on hem. And he killide the fatte men of hem; and he lettide the chosene men of Israel.
੩੧ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੜਕਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਾਢੇ ਮੋਟਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਗੱਭਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਵਾ ਲਿਆ।
32 In alle these thingis thei synneden yit; and bileuede not in the merueils of God.
੩੨ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫੇਰ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕਰਤੱਬਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
33 And the daies of hem failiden in vanytee; and the yeeris of hem faileden with haste.
੩੩ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਭੈਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕਾਏ।
34 Whanne he killide hem, thei souyten hym; and turneden ayen, and eerli thei camen to hym.
੩੪ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਓਹ ਮੁੜੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਨੋਂ ਤਨੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਿਆ।
35 And thei bithouyten, that God is the helper of hem; and `the hiy God is the ayenbier of hem.
੩੫ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
36 And thei loueden hym in her mouth; and with her tunge thei lieden to hym.
੩੬ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਲੋ-ਪੱਤੋ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਝੂਠ ਮਾਰਿਆ,
37 Forsothe the herte of hem was not riytful with hym; nethir thei weren had feithful in his testament.
੩੭ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਨਾ ਓਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਰਹੇ,
38 But he is merciful, and he schal be maad merciful to the synnes of hem; and he schal not destrie hem. And he dide greetli, to turne awei his yre; and he kyndelide not al his ire.
੩੮ਪਰ ਉਸ ਰਹੀਮ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਰੋਕ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਨਾ ਭੜਕਾਇਆ।
39 And he bithouyte, that thei ben fleische; a spirit goynge, and not turnynge ayen.
੩੯ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਨਿਰੇ ਬਸ਼ਰ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਹਵਾ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਵਗਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ।
40 Hou oft maden thei hym wrooth in desert; thei stireden hym in to ire in a place with out watir.
੪੦ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵਾਰ ਓਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋਏ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਦਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ!
41 And thei weren turned, and temptiden God; and thei wraththiden the hooli of Israel.
੪੧ਮੁੜ ਘਿੜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਇਆ।
42 Thei bithouyten not on his hond; in the dai in the which he ayen bouyte hem fro the hond of the trobler.
੪੨ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਨਾ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ,
43 As he settide hise signes in Egipt; and hise grete wondris in the feeld of Taphneos.
੪੩ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸੋਆਨ ਦੀ ਜੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਚੰਭੇ ਵਿਖਾਏ।
44 And he turnede the flodis of hem and the reynes of hem in to blood; that thei schulden not drynke.
੪੪ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋ ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਹੂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਸੋ ਓਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ।
45 He sente a fleisch flie in to hem, and it eet hem; and he sente a paddok, and it loste hem.
੪੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੁੰਡ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਡੱਡੂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
46 And he yaf the fruytis of hem to rust; and he yaf the trauels of hem to locustis.
੪੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਕੀੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਸਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
47 And he killide the vynes of hem bi hail; and the moore trees of hem bi a frost.
੪੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਾਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੇਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਗੁੱਲਰ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਔਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ।
48 And he bitook the beestis of hem to hail; and the possessioun of hem to fier.
੪੮ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ ਲਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
49 He sente in to hem the ire of his indignacioun; indignacioun, and ire, and tribulacioun, sendingis in bi iuel aungels.
੪੯ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦਾ ਡਾਢਾ ਕਹਿਰ, ਰੋਸਾ, ਗਜ਼ਬ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
50 He made weie to the path of his ire, and he sparide not fro the deth of her lyues; and he closide togidere in deth the beestis of hem.
੫੦ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਨਾ ਰੋਕਿਆ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਯਾਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਵਾ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
51 And he smoot al the first gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt; the first fruytis of alle the trauel of hem in the tabernaclis of Cham.
੫੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਹਿਲੌਠੇ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਢ ਸਨ,
52 And he took awei his puple as scheep; and he ledde hem forth as a flok in desert.
੫੨ਪਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਲੈ ਤੁਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਜੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ,
53 And he ledde hem forth in hope, and thei dredden not; and the see hilide the enemyes of hem.
੫੩ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਸੋ ਓਹ ਨਾ ਡਰੇ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਢੱਕ ਲਿਆ।
54 And he brouyte hem in to the hil of his halewyng; in to the hil which his riythond gat. And he castide out hethene men fro the face of hem; and bi lot he departide to hem the lond in a cord of delyng.
੫੪ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਨੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ, ਇਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੱਕ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੇ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ।
55 And he made the lynagis of Israel to dwelle in the tabernaclis of hem.
੫੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜਰੀਬ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਣ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਾਇਆ।
56 And thei temptiden, and wraththiden heiy God; and thei kepten not hise witnessyngis.
੫੬ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਖੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
57 And thei turneden awei hem silf, and thei kepten not couenaunt; as her fadris weren turned in to a schrewid bouwe.
੫੭ਸਗੋਂ ਓਹ ਫਿਰ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਛਲੀਏ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਓਹ ਵਿੰਗੇ ਧਣੁੱਖ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਕੁੱਬੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
58 Thei stiriden him in to ire in her litle hillis; and thei terriden hym to indignacioun of her grauen ymagis.
੫੮ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਛੇੜਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਣਖ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾਇਆ।
59 God herde, and forsook; and brouyte to nouyt Israel greetli.
੫੯ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੱਪਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਘਿਣ ਖਾਧੀ।
60 And he puttide awei the tabernacle of Sylo; his tabernacle where he dwellide among men.
੬੦ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੰਬੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
61 And he bitook the vertu of hem in to caitiftee; and the fairnesse of hem in to the hondis of the enemye.
੬੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਤੇਜ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
62 And he closide togidere his puple in swerd; and he dispiside his erytage.
੬੨ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਪਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ।
63 Fier eet the yonge men of hem; and the virgyns of hem weren not biweilid.
੬੩ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੱਭਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਨੇ ਭਸਮ ਕਰ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਆਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਨਾ ਗਾਏ ਗਏ।
64 The prestis of hem fellen doun bi swerd; and the widewis of hem weren not biwept.
੬੪ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗੇ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
65 And the Lord was reisid, as slepynge; as miyti greetli fillid of wiyn.
੬੫ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਾਗ ਉੱਠਿਆ, ਉਸ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਲਕਾਰੇ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
66 And he smoot hise enemyes on the hynderere partis; he yaf to hem euerlastyng schenschipe.
੬੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਪਿਛਾਂਹ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
67 And he puttide awei the tabernacle of Joseph; and he chees not the lynage of Effraym.
੬੭ਨਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਾ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
68 But he chees the lynage of Juda; he chees the hil of Syon, which he louede.
੬੮ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੀ,
69 And he as an vnicorn bildide his hooli place; in the lond, which he foundide in to worldis.
੬੯ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਚਿਆਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਆਈਂ ਜਿਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਅਟੱਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
70 And he chees Dauid his seruaunt, and took hym vp fro the flockis of scheep; he took hym fro bihynde scheep with lambren.
੭੦ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੁਣਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ।
71 To feed Jacob his seruaunt; and Israel his eritage.
੭੧ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਲਿਆਇਆ। ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਲਖ਼ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਚਰਾਵੇ।
72 And he fedde hem in the innocens of his herte; and he ledde hem forth in the vndurstondyngis of his hondis.
੭੨ਸੋ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਰਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।
