Psalms 75

1 `To the ouercomere; leese thou not the salm of the song of Asaph. God, we schulen knouleche to thee, `we schulen knouleche; and we schulen inwardli clepe thi name.

١ لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ عَلَى لَا تُهْلِكْ. مَزْمُورٌ لآسَافَ تَسْبِيحَةٌ نَحْمَدُكَ يَا اللهُ نَحْمَدُكَ، لأَنَّ اسْمَكَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ شَعْبِكَ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ بِمَا صَنَعْتَ مِنْ عَجَائِبَ.

2 We schulen telle thi merueilis; whanne Y schal take tyme, Y schal deme riytfulnesses.

٢ يَقُولُ اللهُ: «أَنَا أَخْتَارُ مِيعَادِي وَبِالإِنْصَافِ أَنَا أَقْضِي.

3 The erthe is meltid, and alle that duellen ther ynne; Y confermede the pileris therof.

٣ عِنْدَمَا تَهْتَزُّ الأَرْضُ وَمَا فِيهَا مِنْ أَحْيَاءَ، أَنَا مَنْ يُوَطِّدُ أَرْكَانَهَا.

4 I seide to wickid men, Nyle ye do wickidli; and to trespassouris, Nyle ye enhaunce the horn.

٤ أَقُولُ لِلْمُتَغَطْرِسِينَ: لَا تَتَفَاخَرُوا فِيمَا بَعْدُ،

5 Nyle ye reise an hiy youre horn; nyle ye speke wickidnesse ayens God.

٥ وَللأَشْرَارِ: لَا تَتَشَامَخُوا بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَكَلَّمُوا بِأَعْنَاقٍ مُتَصَلِّفَةٍ».

6 For nether fro the eest, nethir fro the west, nethir fro desert hillis; for God is the iuge.

٦ فَإِنَّ الرِّفْعَةَ لَا تَأْتِي مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَلَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ. وَلَا مِنَ الشِّمَالِ وَلَا مِنَ الْجَنُوبِ.

7 He mekith this man, and enhaunsith hym; for a cuppe of cleene wyn ful of meddling is in the hoond of the Lord.

٧ فَاللهُ هُوَ الدَّيَّانُ، يَرْفَعُ وَاحِداً وَيَخْفِضُ آخَرَ.

8 And he bowide of this in to that; netheles the drast therof is not anyntischid; alle synneris of erthe schulen drinke therof.

٨ فِي يَدِ الرَّبِّ كَأْسُ خَمْرٍ مُزْبِدَةٍ مَمْزُوجَةٍ. يَصُبُّهَا فَيَشْرَبُهَا كُلُّ الأَشْرَارِ حَتَّى ثُمَالَتِهَا.

9 Forsothe Y schal telle in to the world; Y schal synge to God of Jacob.

٩ أَمَّا أَنَا فَلَنْ أَكُفَّ عَنِ الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ. أُرَنِّمُ لَهُ دَائِماً.

10 And Y schal breke alle the hornes of synneris; and the hornes of the iust man schulen be enhaunsid.

١٠ يُحَطِّمُ قُوَّةَ الشِّرِّيرِ، أَمَّا قُوَّةُ الْبَارِّ فَتَعْظُمُ.
