Psalms 74
1 The lernyng of Asaph. God, whi hast thou put awei in to the ende; thi strong veniaunce is wrooth on the scheep of thi leesewe?
आसफ का मसकील. परमेश्वर! आपने क्यों हमें सदा के लिए शोकित छोड़ दिया है? आपकी चराई की भेड़ों के प्रति आपके क्रोध की अग्नि का धुआं क्यों उठ रहा है?
2 Be thou myndeful of thi gadering togidere; which thou haddist in possessioun fro the bigynnyng. Thou ayenbouytist the yerde of thin eritage; the hille of Syon in which thou dwellidist ther ynne.
स्मरण कीजिए उन लोगों को, जिन्हें आपने मोल लिया था, उस कुल को, आपने अपना भागी बनाने के लिए जिसका उद्धार किया था; स्मरण कीजिए ज़ियोन पर्वत को, जो आपका आवास है.
3 Reise thin hondis in to the prides of hem; hou grete thingis the enemy dide wickidli in the hooli.
इन चिरस्थाई विध्वंस अवशेषों के मध्य चलते फिरते रहिए, पवित्र स्थान में शत्रु ने सभी कुछ नष्ट कर दिया है.
4 And thei that hatiden thee; hadden glorie in the myddis of thi solempnete.
एक समय जहां आप हमसे भेंटकरते थे, वहां शत्रु के जयघोष के नारे गूंज रहे हैं; उन्होंने वहां प्रमाण स्वरूप अपने ध्वज गाड़ दिए हैं.
5 Thei settiden her signes, `ethir baneris, signes on the hiyeste, as in the outgoing; and thei knewen not.
उनका व्यवहार वृक्षों और झाड़ियों पर कुल्हाड़ी चलाते हुए आगे बढ़ते पुरुषों के समान होता है.
6 As in a wode of trees thei heweden doun with axis the yatis therof in to it silf; thei castiden doun it with an ax, and a brood fallinge ax.
उन्होंने कुल्हाड़ियों और हथौड़ों से द्वारों के उकेरे गए नक़्कशीदार कामों को चूर-चूर कर डाला है.
7 Thei brenten with fier thi seyntuarie; thei defouliden the tabernacle of thi name in erthe.
उन्होंने आपके मंदिर को भस्म कर धूल में मिला दिया है; उस स्थान को, जहां आपकी महिमा का वास था, उन्होंने भ्रष्ट कर दिया है.
8 The kynrede of hem seiden togidere in her herte; Make we alle the feest daies of God to ceesse fro the erthe.
उन्होंने यह कहते हुए संकल्प किया, “इन्हें हम पूर्णतः कुचल देंगे!” संपूर्ण देश में ऐसे स्थान, जहां-जहां परमेश्वर की वंदना की जाती थी, भस्म कर दिए गए.
9 We han not seyn oure signes, now `no profete is; and he schal no more knowe vs.
अब कहीं भी आश्चर्य कार्य नहीं देखे जा रहे; कहीं भी भविष्यद्वक्ता शेष न रहे, हममें से कोई भी यह नहीं बता सकता, कि यह सब कब तक होता रहेगा.
10 God, hou long schal the enemye seie dispit? the aduersarie territh to ire thi name in to the ende.
परमेश्वर, शत्रु कब तक आपका उपहास करता रहेगा? क्या शत्रु आपकी महिमा पर सदैव ही कीचड़ उछालता रहेगा?
11 Whi turnest thou awei thin hoond, and `to drawe out thi riythond fro the myddis of thi bosum, til in to the ende?
आपने क्यों अपना हाथ रोके रखा है, आपका दायां हाथ? अपने वस्त्रों में छिपे हाथ को बाहर निकालिए और कर दीजिए अपने शत्रुओं का अंत!
12 Forsothe God oure kyng bifore worldis; wrouyte heelthe in the mydis of erthe.
परमेश्वर, आप युग-युग से मेरे राजा रहे हैं; पृथ्वी पर उद्धार के काम करनेवाले आप ही हैं.
13 Thou madist sad the see bi thi vertu; thou hast troblid the heedis of dragouns in watris.
आप ही ने अपनी सामर्थ्य से समुद्र को दो भागों में विभक्त किया था; आप ही ने विकराल जल जंतु के सिर कुचल डाले.
14 Thou hast broke the heedis of `the dragoun; thou hast youe hym to mete to the puplis of Ethiopiens.
लिवयाथान के सिर भी आपने ही कुचले थे, कि उसका मांस वन के पशुओं को खिला दिया जाए.
15 Thou hast broke wellis, and strondis; thou madist drie the flodis of Ethan.
आपने ही झरने और धाराएं प्रवाहित की; और आपने ही सदा बहने वाली नदियों को सुखा दिया.
16 The dai is thin, and the niyt is thin; thou madist the moreutid and the sunne.
दिन तो आपका है ही, साथ ही रात्रि भी आपकी ही है; सूर्य, चंद्रमा की स्थापना भी आपके द्वारा की गई है.
17 Thou madist alle the endis of erthe; somer and veer tyme, thou fourmedist tho.
पृथ्वी की समस्त सीमाएं आपके द्वारा निर्धारित की गई हैं; ग्रीष्मऋतु एवं शरद ऋतु दोनों ही आपकी कृति हैं.
18 Be thou myndeful of this thing, the enemye hath seid schenschip to the Lord; and the vnwijs puple hath excitid to ire thi name.
याहवेह, स्मरण कीजिए शत्रु ने कैसे आपका उपहास किया था, कैसे मूर्खों ने आपकी निंदा की थी.
19 Bitake thou not to beestis men knoulechenge to thee; and foryete thou not in to the ende the soulis of thi pore men.
अपने कबूतरी का जीवन हिंसक पशुओं के हाथ में न छोड़िए; अपनी पीड़ित प्रजा के जीवन को सदा के लिए भूल न जाइए.
20 Biholde in to thi testament; for thei that ben maad derk of erthe, ben fillid with the housis of wickidnessis.
अपनी वाचा की लाज रख लीजिए, क्योंकि देश के अंधकारमय स्थान हिंसा के अड्डे बन गए हैं.
21 A meke man be not turned awei maad aschamed; a pore man and nedi schulen herie thi name.
दमित प्रजा को लज्जित होकर लौटना न पड़े; कि दरिद्र और दुःखी आपका गुणगान करें.
22 God, rise vp, deme thou thi cause; be thou myndeful of thin vpbreidyngis, of tho that ben al dai of the vnwise man.
परमेश्वर, उठ जाइए और अपने पक्ष की रक्षा कीजिए; स्मरण कीजिए कि मूर्ख कैसे निरंतर आपका उपहास करते रहे हैं.
23 Foryete thou not the voices of thin enemyes; the pride of hem that haten thee, stieth euere.
अपने विरोधियों के आक्रोश की अनदेखी न कीजिए, आपके शत्रुओं का वह कोलाहल, जो निरंतर बढ़ता जा रहा है.
