Psalms 70

1 To the victorie `of Dauid, `to haue mynde. God, biholde thou in to myn heelp; Lord, hast thou to helpe me.

பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். இறைவனே, என்னைக் காப்பாற்ற விரைவாய் வாரும்; யெகோவாவே, எனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய விரைவாய் வாரும்.

2 Be thei schent, and aschamed; that seken my lijf. Be thei turned a bak; and schame thei, that wolen yuels to me.

என் உயிரை அழிக்கத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் வெட்கப்பட்டுக் குழப்பமடைவார்களாக; எனது அழிவை விரும்புகிற யாவரும் அவமானமடைந்து திரும்புவார்களாக.

3 Be thei turned awei anoon, and schame thei; that seien to me, Wel! wel!

என்னைப் பார்த்து, “ஆ! ஆ!” என்று ஏளனம் செய்கிறவர்கள், அவர்களுடைய வெட்கத்தினால் திரும்புவார்களாக.

4 Alle men that seken thee, make fulli ioie, and be glad in thee; and thei that louen thin heelthe, seie euere, The Lord be magnyfied.

ஆனால் உம்மைத் தேடுகிற யாவரும் உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவார்களாக; உமது இரட்சிப்பை விரும்புவோர், “இறைவன் பெரியவர்!” என்று எப்போதும் சொல்வார்களாக.

5 Forsothe Y am a nedi man, and pore; God, helpe thou me. Thou art myn helper and my delyuerere; Lord, tarye thou not.

நானோ, ஏழையும் எளியவனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; இறைவனே, என்னிடம் விரைந்து வாரும். நீரே என் துணை, நீரே என் மீட்பர்; யெகோவாவே, தாமதியாதேயும்.
