Psalms 70

1 To the victorie `of Dauid, `to haue mynde. God, biholde thou in to myn heelp; Lord, hast thou to helpe me.

૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે. સંભારણને અર્થે. દાઉદનું ગીત. હે ઈશ્વર, મારો બચાવ કરો! હે યહોવાહ, ઉતાવળ કરીને મને સહાય કરો.

2 Be thei schent, and aschamed; that seken my lijf. Be thei turned a bak; and schame thei, that wolen yuels to me.

૨જેઓ મારો પ્રાણ લેવા ઇચ્છે છે, તેઓ નિરાશ થાઓ અને આકુળવ્યાકુળ થઈ જાઓ; જેઓ મારું અનિષ્ટ ઇચ્છે છે, તેઓ પાછા પડો અને અપમાનિત થાઓ.

3 Be thei turned awei anoon, and schame thei; that seien to me, Wel! wel!

૩જેઓ કહે છે કે, “આહા, આહા,” તેઓ પોતાના અપમાનને કારણે પાછા હઠો.

4 Alle men that seken thee, make fulli ioie, and be glad in thee; and thei that louen thin heelthe, seie euere, The Lord be magnyfied.

૪તમારા શોધાનારાઓ હરખાઓ અને તમારામાં આનંદ કરો; જેઓ તમારા દ્વારા મળતા ઉદ્ધાર પર પ્રેમ કરે છે તેઓ પોકારીને કહો કે, “ઈશ્વર મોટા મનાઓ.”

5 Forsothe Y am a nedi man, and pore; God, helpe thou me. Thou art myn helper and my delyuerere; Lord, tarye thou not.

૫પણ હું તો દીન તથા દરિદ્રી છું; હે ઈશ્વર, મારી પાસે ઉતાવળથી આવો; તમે મારા સહાયકારી તથા મને છોડાવનાર છો. હે યહોવાહ, વિલંબ ન કરો.
