Psalms 65
1 `To victorie, `the salm of the song of Dauid. God, heriyng bicometh thee in Syon; and a vow schal be yolden to thee in Jerusalem.
Mai marelui muzician, un psalm și o cântare a lui David. Laudă te așteaptă în Sion Dumnezeule, și ție îți va fi împlinită promisiunea.
2 Here thou my preier; ech man schal come to thee.
Tu cel care asculți rugăciunea, toată făptura va veni la tine.
3 The wordis of wickid men hadden the maistrye ouer vs; and thou schalt do merci to oure wickidnessis.
Nelegiuiri mă stăpânesc, tu vei îndepărta fărădelegile noastre.
4 Blessid is he, whom thou hast chose, and hast take; he schal dwelle in thin hallis. We schulen be fillid with the goodis of thin hous;
Binecuvântat este omul pe care tu îl alegi și ți-l apropii, ca să locuiască în curțile tale; ne vom sătura cu bunătatea casei tale, sfântul tău templu.
5 thi temple is hooli, wondurful in equite. God, oure heelthe, here thou vs; thou art hope of alle coostis of erthe, and in the see afer.
În dreptate ne vei răspunde prin lucruri înfricoșătoare, Dumnezeul salvării noastre, care ești încrederea tuturor marginilor pământului și a celor ce sunt departe pe mare.
6 And thou makest redi hillis in thi vertu, and art gird with power;
Care prin tăria lui întemeiază munții, fiind încins cu putere,
7 which disturblist the depthe of the see, the soun of the wawis therof.
Care liniștește zgomotul mărilor, zgomotul valurilor lor și tumultul popoarelor.
8 Folkis schulen be disturblid, and thei that dwellen in the endis schulen drede of thi signes; thou schalt delite the outgoingis of the morewtid and euentid.
De asemenea cei ce locuiesc în cele mai îndepărtate părți se tem de semnele tale, tu faci ca ieșirile dimineții și ale serii să se bucure.
9 Thou hast visitid the lond, and hast greetli fillid it; thou hast multiplied to make it riche. The flood of God was fillid with watris; thou madist redi the mete of hem, for the makyng redi therof is so.
Tu cercetezi pământul și îl uzi, îl îmbogățești mult cu râul lui Dumnezeu, care este plin de apă, tu le pregătești oamenilor grâne, după ce astfel te-ai îngrijit de el.
10 Thou fillynge greetli the stremes therof, multiplie the fruytis therof; the lond bringinge forth fruytis schal be glad in goteris of it.
Tu adăpi brazdele lui, îi așezi bulgării; îl înmoi cu ploi, îi binecuvântezi încolțirea.
11 Thou schalt blesse the coroun of the yeer of thi good wille; and thi feeldis schulen be fillid with plentee of fruytis.
Tu încoronezi anul cu bunătatea ta și cărările tale picură grăsime.
12 The feire thingis of desert schulen wexe fatte; and litle hillis schulen be cumpassid with ful out ioiyng.
Ele picură peste pășunile pustiei și colinele se bucură de fiecare parte.
13 The wetheris of scheep ben clothid, and valeis schulen be plenteuouse of wheete; thei schulen crye, and sotheli thei schulen seye salm.
Pășunile sunt îmbrăcate cu turme; văile de asemenea sunt acoperite cu grâne; da, ele strigă de bucurie și cântă.
