Psalms 65
1 `To victorie, `the salm of the song of Dauid. God, heriyng bicometh thee in Syon; and a vow schal be yolden to thee in Jerusalem.
Dem Musikmeister. Ein Psalm Davids. Ein Lied. Dir gebührt Lobpreis, o Gott, auf Zion, und dir bezahle man Gelübde!
2 Here thou my preier; ech man schal come to thee.
Der du Gebete hörst, zu dir kommt alles Fleisch.
3 The wordis of wickid men hadden the maistrye ouer vs; and thou schalt do merci to oure wickidnessis.
Meine Verschuldungen hatten mich überwältigt, aber du deckst unsere Vergehungen zu.
4 Blessid is he, whom thou hast chose, and hast take; he schal dwelle in thin hallis. We schulen be fillid with the goodis of thin hous;
Wohl dem, den du erwählst und nahen lässest, daß er in deinen Vorhöfen wohne, damit wir uns ersättigen an den Gütern deines Hauses, deines heiligen Tempels.
5 thi temple is hooli, wondurful in equite. God, oure heelthe, here thou vs; thou art hope of alle coostis of erthe, and in the see afer.
Mit furchtbaren Thaten antwortest du uns nach deiner Gerechtigkeit, du Gott, der du unser Heil bist, du Zuversicht aller der fernen Enden der Erde und des Meers,
6 And thou makest redi hillis in thi vertu, and art gird with power;
der durch seine Kraft die Berge feststellt, mit Stärke gegürtet ist,
7 which disturblist the depthe of the see, the soun of the wawis therof.
der das Brausen des Meeres stillt, das Brausen seiner Wellen und das Toben der Völker,
8 Folkis schulen be disturblid, and thei that dwellen in the endis schulen drede of thi signes; thou schalt delite the outgoingis of the morewtid and euentid.
so daß sich die Bewohner der äußersten Enden vor deinem Zeichen fürchten: die Länder gegen Morgen und gegen Abend versetzest du in Jubel.
9 Thou hast visitid the lond, and hast greetli fillid it; thou hast multiplied to make it riche. The flood of God was fillid with watris; thou madist redi the mete of hem, for the makyng redi therof is so.
Du hast das Land heimgesucht und hast es getränkt, hast es gar reich gemacht mit einem Gottesbache voll Wasser, bereitest Getreide für sie, denn also bereitest du das Land.
10 Thou fillynge greetli the stremes therof, multiplie the fruytis therof; the lond bringinge forth fruytis schal be glad in goteris of it.
Du tränkst seine Furchen, lockerst seine Schollen, weichst es durch Regenschauer auf, segnest sein Gewächs.
11 Thou schalt blesse the coroun of the yeer of thi good wille; and thi feeldis schulen be fillid with plentee of fruytis.
Du kröntest das Jahr mit deiner Güte, und deine Geleise triefen von Fett.
12 The feire thingis of desert schulen wexe fatte; and litle hillis schulen be cumpassid with ful out ioiyng.
Es triefen die Auen der Steppe, und mit Jubel gürten sich die Hügel.
13 The wetheris of scheep ben clothid, and valeis schulen be plenteuouse of wheete; thei schulen crye, and sotheli thei schulen seye salm.
Die Anger sind mit Herden von Schafen bekleidet, und die Thalgründe hüllen sich in Korn: sie jauchzen einander zu und singen.
