Psalms 63
1 `The salm of Dauid, `whanne he was in the desert of Judee. God, my God, Y wake to thee ful eerli. Mi soule thirstide to thee; my fleisch thirstide to thee ful many foold.
૧દાઉદનું ગીત; તે યહૂદિયાના અરણ્યમાં હતો તે વખતનું. હે ઈશ્વર, તમે મારા ઈશ્વર છો; હું ગંભીરતાપૂર્વક તમારી શોધ કરીશ; જ્યાં પાણી હોતું નથી, એવા સૂકા તથા ખેદજનક દેશમાં મારો આત્મા તમારે માટે તલસે છે અને મારો દેહ તમારે માટે તલપે છે.
2 In a lond forsakun with out wei, and with out water, so Y apperide to thee in hooli; that Y schulde se thi vertu, and thi glorie.
૨તેથી તમારું સામર્થ્ય તથા ગૌરવ જોવાને માટે મેં પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં તમારી તરફ જોયું છે.
3 For thi merci is betere than lyues; my lippis schulen herie thee.
૩કારણ કે તમારી કૃપા જીવન કરતાં ઉત્તમ છે, મારા હોઠો તમારી સ્તુતિ કરશે.
4 So Y schal blesse thee in my lijf; and in thi name Y schal reise myn hondis.
૪હું આવી રીતે મરણ પર્યંત તમને ધન્યવાદ આપીશ; હું તમારે નામે મારા હાથ જોડીને ઊંચા કરીશ.
5 Mi soule be fillid as with inner fatnesse and vttermere fatnesse; and my mouth schal herie with lippis of ful out ioiyng.
૫હું મારી પથારીમાં તમારા વિષે વિચારું છું; અને રાતના સમયે હું તમારું મનન કરું છું
6 So Y hadde mynde on thee on my bed, in morewtidis Y shal thenke of thee;
૬મજ્જા તથા મેદથી મારો આત્મા તૃપ્ત થશે અને હર્ષિત હોઠોથી મારું મુખ તમારું સ્તવન કરશે.
7 for thou were myn helpere. And in the keueryng of thi wyngis Y schal make `ful out ioye, my soule cleuede after thee;
૭કેમ કે તમે મારા સહાયકારી થયા છો અને હું તમારી પાંખોની છાયામાં હરખાઈશ.
8 thi riythond took me vp.
૮મારો આત્મા તમને વળગી રહે છે; તમારો જમણો હાથ મને ઊંચકી રાખે છે.
9 Forsothe thei souyten in veyn my lijf, thei schulen entre in to the lower thingis of erthe;
૯પણ જેઓ મારા આત્માનો નાશ કરવા મથે છે, તેઓ પૃથ્વીના ઊંડાણમાં ધકેલાઈ જશે.
10 thei schulen be bitakun in to the hondis of swerd, thei schulen be maad the partis of foxis.
૧૦તેઓ તલવારને સ્વાધીન થશે; તેઓ શિયાળોનું ભક્ષ થઈ જશે.
11 But the king schal be glad in God; and alle men schulen be preysid that sweren in hym, for the mouth of hem, that speken wickid thingis, is stoppid.
૧૧પણ રાજા ઈશ્વરમાં આનંદ કરશે, જે તેમના સમ ખાય છે તે દરેકનો જય થશે, પણ જૂઠું બોલનારાનાં મુખ તો બંધ કરી દેવામાં આવશે.
