Psalms 62
1 To the victorie on Iditum, the salm of Dauid. Whether my soule schal not be suget to God; for myn heelthe is of hym.
Zborovođi. Po Jedutunu. Psalam. Davidov. Samo je u Bogu mir, dušo moja, samo je u njemu spasenje.
2 For whi he is bothe my God, and myn heelthe; my `taker vp, Y schal no more be moued.
Samo on je moja hrid i spasenje, utvrda moja: neću se pokolebati.
3 Hou longe fallen ye on a man? alle ye sleen; as to a wal bowid, and a wal of stoon with out morter cast doun.
Dokle ćete na bijednika nasrtati, obarat' ga svi zajedno, k'o zid ruševan il' ogradu nagnutu?
4 Netheles thei thouyten to putte awei my prijs, Y ran in thirst; with her mouth thei blessiden, and in her herte thei cursiden.
Urotiše se da me s visa mog obore, u laži uživaju; ustima blagoslivlju, a u srcu proklinju.
5 Netheles, my soule, be thou suget to God; for my pacience is of hym.
Samo je u Bogu mir, dušo moja, samo je u njemu nada moja.
6 For he is my God, and my saueour; myn helpere, Y schal not passe out.
Samo on je moja hrid i spasenje, utvrda moja: neću se pokolebati.
7 Myn helthe, and my glorie is in God; God is the yyuer of myn help, and myn hope is in God.
U Boga je spasenje moje i slava; Bog mi je hridina silna, utočište.
8 Al the gaderyng togidere of the puple, hope ye in God, schede ye out youre hertis bifore hym; God is oure helpere with outen ende.
U nj se, narode, uzdaj u svako doba; pred njim srca izlijevajte: Bog je naše utočište!
9 Netheles the sones of men ben veyne; the sones of men ben liers in balauncis, that thei disseyue of vanytee in to the same thing.
Sinovi su ljudski samo dašak, laž su djeca čovječja: svi da stanu na tezulju, od daha bi lakši bili.
10 Nile ye haue hope in wickidnesse, and nyle ye coueyte raueyns; if ritchessis be plenteuouse, nyle ye sette the herte therto.
U grabež se ne uzdajte nit' se otetim tašto hvalite; umnoži l' se blago, nek' vam srce za nj ne prione.
11 God spak onys, Y herde these twei thingis, that power is of God, and, thou Lord, mercy is to thee;
Bog rekao jedno, a ja dvoje čuo:
12 for thou schalt yelde to ech man bi hise werkis.
“U Boga je snaga! U tebe je, Gospode, dobrota! Ti uzvraćaš svakom po djelima.”
