Psalms 61

1 To the victorie on orgun, to Dauid hym silf. God, here thou my biseching; yyue thou tent to my preyer.

Para el director del coro. Acompañado de instrumentos de cuerda. Un salmo de David. Por favor, Dios, escucha mi ruego de ayuda. Escucha mi oración.

2 Fro the endis of the lond Y criede to thee; the while myn herte was angwischid, thou enhaunsidist me in a stoon.

Desde la distancia y lejos de mi hogar, clamo a ti a medida que mi fe desmaya. Llévame a la roca, en lo alto, donde pueda estar seguro,

3 Thou laddest me forth, for thou art maad myn hope; a tour of strengthe fro the face of the enemye.

porque tú eres mi protección, una torre fuerte en la que mis enemigos no pueden atacarme.

4 I schal dwelle in thi tabernacle in to worldis; Y schal be keuered in the hilyng of thi wengis.

Déjame vivir contigoj por siempre y protégeme bajo la seguridad de tus alas. (Selah)

5 For thou, my God, hast herd my preier; thou hast youe eritage to hem that dreden thi name.

Porque tú, oh Dios, has escuchado las promesas que hice. A los que te aman tu carácter les has dado tu bendición especial.

6 Thou schalt adde daies on the daies of the king; hise yeeris til in to the dai of generacioun and of generacioun.

Por favor dale al rey muchos años más, y que su reino perdure a través de las generaciones.

7 He dwellith with outen ende in the siyt of God; who schal seke the merci and treuthe of hym?

Que siempre viva en tu presencia. Que tu fidelidad y amor incondicional lo protejan.

8 So Y schal seie salm to thi name in to the world of world; that Y yelde my vowis fro dai in to dai.

Entonces cantaré eternamente alabanzas a ti, y cada día cumpliré mi promesa hacia ti.
