Psalms 60
1 `In Ebreu thus, To victorie, on the witnessyng of roose, the swete song of Dauid, to teche, `whanne he fauyte ayens Aram of floodis, and Sirie of Soba; and Joab turnede ayen, and smoot Edom in the `valei of salt pittis, twelue thousynde. `In Jeroms translacioun thus, To the ouercomer for lilies, the witnessing of meke and parfit Dauid, to teche, whanne he fauyte ayens Sirie of Mesopotamye, and Soba, and so forth. God, thou hast put awei vs, and thou hast distried vs; thou were wrooth, and thou hast do merci to vs.
Pou chèf sanba yo. Se pou yo chante sou menm lè ak chante ki di: Bèl flè savann blan yo. Se yon chante David te fè pou moutre moun anpil bagay. Li te ekri l' lè li t'ap fè lagè ak moun Aram yo ki te soti nan peyi Naarayen ak peyi Soba. Sa te rive aprè Joab te tounen nan batay la pou l' te touye douz mil (12.000) moun peyi Edon nan Fon Sèl la. Bondye, ou vire do ban nou. Ou gaye nou toupatou. Ou te fache ak nou. Tanpri, fè nou kanpe ankò!
2 Thou mouedist the erthe, and thou disturblidist it; make thou hool the sorewis therof, for it is moued.
Ou fè peyi a tranble, ou mete l' tèt anba. Mete l' sou de pye l' ankò, paske li prèt pou tonbe nèt.
3 Thou schewidist harde thingis to thi puple; thou yauest drynk to vs with the wyn of compunccioun.
Ou kite pèp ou a pase anba kont tray li. Ou ba li bwè yon bweson ki fè tèt li vire.
4 Thou hast youe a signefiyng to hem that dreden thee; that thei fle fro the face of the bouwe. That thi derlyngis be delyuered;
Ou bay moun ki gen krentif pou ou yo yon drapo, pou lè batay la yo jwenn kote pou yo kache.
5 make thou saaf with thi riyt hond `the puple of Israel, and here thou me.
Delivre nou ak pouvwa ou. Reponn nou lè nou lapriyè nan pye ou, pou moun ou renmen anpil yo ka jwenn delivrans.
6 God spak bi his hooli; Y schal be glad, and Y schal departe Siccimam, and Y schal meete the greet valei of tabernaclis.
Bondye rete kote ki apa pou li a, li di: -Mwen kontan anpil. Mwen pral separe lavil Sichèm. Mwen pral fè apantaj Fon Soukòt.
7 Galaad is myn, and Manasses is myn; and Effraym is the strengthe of myn heed.
Peyi Galarad, se pou mwen li ye. Peyi Manase tou. M'ap fè peyi Efrayim tounen yon kas pou pwoteje tèt mwen. Peyi Jida, se baton kòmandman mwen li ye.
8 Juda is my king; Moab is the pot of myn hope. In to Idumee Y schal stretche forth my scho; aliens ben maad suget to me.
Men m'ap fè peyi Moab sèvi m' kivèt pou m' fè twalèt mwen. M'ap poze men m' sou peyi Edon. Peyi Filisti a menm, m'ap mache pran li.
9 Who schal lede me in to a citee maad strong; who schal leede me til in to Ydumee?
Ki moun ki pou mennen m' nan lavil ki byen gade a? Ki moun ki pou mennen m' lavil Edon?
10 Whether not thou, God, that hast put awei vs; and schalt thou not, God, go out in oure vertues?
Eske se pa ou menm, Bondye, ki pou fè sa pou mwen, ou menm ki te vire do ban nou, ou menm ki pa soti ansanm ak lame nou yo ankò?
11 Lord, yyue thou to vs help of tribulacioun; for the heelthe of man is veyn.
Tanpri, ede nou goumen kont lènmi nou yo, paske sekou lèzòm se pawòl nan bouch.
12 In God we schulen make vertu; and he schal bringe to nouyt hem that disturblen vs.
Avèk Bondye bò kote nou, n'a fè bèl bagay nan lagè. Se li menm k'ap kraze lènmi nou yo anba pye l'.
