1 `In Ebreu thus, To the victorie, lese thou not the semeli song, `ether the `swete song of Dauid, `whanne he fledde fro the face of Saul in to the denne. `In Jeroms translacioun thus, For victorie, that thou lese not Dauid, meke and simple, whanne he fledde fro the face of Saul in to the denne. God, haue thou merci on me, haue thou merci on me; for my soule tristith in thee. And Y schal hope in the schadewe of thi wyngis; til wickidnesse passe.
Tretrezo iraho ry Andrianañahare, iferenaiño, fa Ihe ro fitsoloham-piaiko; eka! an-talinjon’ ela’o ao ty fipalirako, ampara’ te ihelaña’ ty hankàñe.
2 I schal crye to God altherhiyeste; to God that dide wel to me.
Kanjieko t’i Andrianañahare Abo-tia; Aman’ Añahare fahatafeterako.
3 He sente fro heuene, and delyuerede me; he yaf in to schenschip hem that defoulen me. God sente his merci and his treuthe,
Hahitri’e hirik’an-dikerañe ao ty fandrombahañe ahy, endaha’e i mandialia ahikoy. Selà Ho sangitrihen’ Añahare ty fiferenaiña’e naho ty hatò’e.
4 and delyuerede my soule fro the myddis of whelpis of liouns; Y slepte disturblid. The sones of men, the teeth of hem ben armuris and arowis; and her tunge is a scharp swerd.
An-teñateñan-diona ao ty fiaiko; itraofako handre o mpikofòke afoo; toe o ana’ ondatio, lefoñe naho ana-pale o famotsi’eo, fibara masioñe ty famele’iareo.
5 God, be thou enhaunsid aboue heuenes; and thi glorie aboue al erthe.
Onjoneñe ambone’ i likerañey irehe, ry Andrianañahare, ambone’ ty tane toy iaby ty enge’o.
6 Thei maden redi a snare to my feet; and thei greetly boweden my lijf. Thei delueden a diche bifore my face; and thei felden doun in to it.
Nikotepe’ iareo harato o liakoo; mibokobokoke ty fiaiko; nihalia’ iereo koboñe ty aoloko eo, f’ie nigodoñe am-po’e ao. Selà
7 God, myn herte is redi, myn herte is redi; Y schal singe, and Y schal seie salm.
Mijadoñe ty troko ry Andrianañahare, eka, gañe ty troko; hisabo iraho, eka hisabo fandrengeañe.
8 Mi glorie, rise thou vp; sautrie and harpe, rise thou vp; Y schal rise vp eerli.
Mivañona, ry engeko! Mitroara ry kararàke naho marovany, hampitsekafako ty fanjirik’andro!
9 Lord, Y schal knouleche to thee among puplis; and Y schal seie salm among hethene men.
Hañandriañe Azo iraho ry Talè añivo’ ondatio eo, ho rengeko an-tsabo amo kilakila‘ndatio ao.
10 For thi merci is magnified til to heuenes; and thi treuthe til to cloudis.
Amy te ra’elahy pak’ an-dindiñe añe ty fiferenaiña’o; le pak’an-drahoñe eñe ty hatò’o.
11 God, be thou enhaunsid aboue heuenes; and thi glorie ouer al erthe.
Onjoneñe ambonen-dikerañ’eñe irehe ry Andrianañahare, ty enge’o ambone’ ty tane bey toy.
