Psalms 53

1 To the ouercomer bi the quere, the lernyng of Dauid. The vnwise man seide in his herte; God is not. Thei ben `corrupt, and maad abhomynable in her wickidnessis; noon is that doith good.

೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಮಹಲಾತ್ ಎಂಬ ರಾಗದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಪದ್ಯ. ದುರ್ಮತಿಗಳು, “ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟವರು; ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

2 God bihelde fro heuene on the sones of men; that he se, if `ony is vndurstondynge, ether sekynge God.

೨ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು ಇದ್ದಾರೋ ಎಂದು ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ,

3 Alle boweden awei, thei ben maad vnprofitable togidre; noon is that doith good, ther is not til to oon.

೩ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋದವರೇ.

4 Whether alle men, that worchen wickidnesse, schulen not wite; whiche deuouren my puple as the mete of breed?

೪ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆದು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

5 Thei clepiden not God; there thei trembliden for drede, where no drede was. For God hath scaterid the boones of hem, that plesen men; thei ben schent, for God hath forsake hem.

೫ಭಯಪಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವರು ಪಕ್ಕನೆ ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತರಾದರು; ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನಲ್ಲಾ. ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾಗುವರು.

6 Who schal yyue fro Syon helthe to Israel? whanne the Lord hath turned the caitifte of his puple, Jacob schal `ful out make ioie, and Israel schal be glad.

೬ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಬೇಗನೆ ಬರಲಿ. ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸುವಾಗ, ಆತನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಯಾಕೋಬ ವಂಶದವರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಹರ್ಷಿಸುವರು.
