Psalms 51
1 To victorie, the salm of Dauid; `whanne Nathan the prophete cam to hym, whanne he entride to Bersabee. God, haue thou merci on me; bi thi greet merci. And bi the mychilnesse of thi merciful doyngis; do thou awei my wickidnesse.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਨਾਥਾਨ ਨਬੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਥ-ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਮਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇ!
2 More waische thou me fro my wickidnesse; and clense thou me fro my synne.
੨ਮੇਰੀ ਬਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਧੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰ,
3 For Y knouleche my wickidnesse; and my synne is euere ayens me.
੩ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਾਪ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੈ।
4 I haue synned to thee aloone, and Y haue do yuel bifor thee; that thou be iustified in thi wordis, and ouercome whanne thou art demed. For lo!
੪ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰੇਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਂ।
5 Y was conseyued in wickednessis; and my modir conceyuede me in synnes.
੫ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਬਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ।
6 For lo! thou louedist treuthe; thou hast schewid to me the vncerteyn thingis, and pryuy thingis of thi wisdom.
੬ਵੇਖ, ਤੂੰ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਸਿਖਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
7 Lord, sprenge thou me with ysope, and Y schal be clensid; waische thou me, and Y schal be maad whijt more than snow.
੭ਜੂਫ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਕ ਕਰ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧੋ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਰਫ਼ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗਾ।
8 Yyue thou ioie, and gladnesse to myn heryng; and boonys maad meke schulen ful out make ioye.
੮ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਸੁਣਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣ।
9 Turne awei thi face fro my synnes; and do awei alle my wickidnesses.
੯ਮੇਰਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਫੇਰ ਲੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇ!
10 God, make thou a clene herte in me; and make thou newe a riytful spirit in my entrailis.
੧੦ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਕ ਮਨ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਥਿਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਵੀ।
11 Caste thou me not awei fro thi face; and take thou not awei fro me thin hooli spirit.
੧੧ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੋਂ ਨਾ ਧੱਕ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਨਾ ਲੈ!
12 Yiue thou to me the gladnesse of thyn helthe; and conferme thou me with the principal spirit.
੧੨ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮ ਆਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ।
13 I schal teche wickid men thi weies; and vnfeithful men schulen be conuertid to thee.
੧੩ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਹ ਸਿਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜਨਗੇ।
14 God, the God of myn helthe, delyuere thou me fro bloodis; and my tunge schal ioyfuli synge thi riytfulnesse.
੧੪ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੂਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਤੇਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਜੈ-ਜੈਕਾਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
15 Lord, `opene thou my lippis; and my mouth schal telle thi preysyng.
੧੫ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਸੁਣਾਵੇਗਾ।
16 For if thou haddist wold sacrifice, Y hadde youe; treuli thou schalt not delite in brent sacrifices.
੧੬ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
17 A sacrifice to God is a spirit troblid; God, thou schalt not dispise a contrit herte and `maad meke.
੧੭ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਟੁੱਟਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਟੁੱਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਚਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਨਾ ਜਾਣੇਗਾ।
18 Lord, do thou benygneli in thi good wille to Syon; that the wallis of Jerusalem be bildid.
੧੮ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਕਰ, ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾ ਦੇ।
19 Thanne thou schalt take plesauntli the sacrifice of riytfulnesse, offryngis, and brent sacrifices; thanne thei schulen putte calues on thin auter.
੧੯ਤਦ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਹੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਤਦ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣਗੇ।
