Psalms 46
1 To the ouercomere, the song of the sones `of Chore, `for yongthis. Oure God, thou art refuyt, and vertu; helpere in tribulacions, that han founde vs greetly.
Для дириґента хору. Синів Коре́євих. На спів „Аламот“. Пісня. Бог для нас — охоро́на та сила, допомо́га в недолях, що часто трапляються,
2 Therfor we schulen not drede, while the erthe schal be troblid; and the hillis schulen be borun ouer in to the herte of the see.
тому́ не лякаємось ми, як трясе́ться земля, і коли го́ри зсува́ються в серце морі́в!
3 The watris of hem sowneden, and weren troblid; hillis weren troblid togidere in the strengthe of hym.
Шумлять і киплять Його во́ди, через ве́лич Його тремтя́ть го́ри. (Се́ла)
4 The feersnesse of flood makith glad the citee of God; the hiyeste God hath halewid his tabernacle.
Річка, — відно́ги її веселя́ть місто Боже, найсвятіше із місць пробува́ння Всеви́шнього.
5 God in the myddis therof schal not be moued; God schal helpe it eerli in the grey morewtid.
Бог серед нього, — нехай не хитається, Бог поможе йому́, коли ра́нок настане.
6 Hethene men weren disturblid togidere, and rewmes weren bowid doun; God yaf his vois, the erthe was moued.
Шуміли наро́ди, хиталися ца́рства, а Він голос подав Свій — і земля розпливла́ся.
7 The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
З нами Господь Савао́т, наша тверди́ня — Бог Яковів. (Се́ла)
8 Come ye, and se the werkis of the Lord; whiche wondris he hath set on the erthe.
Ідіть, оглядайте Господні діла, — які руйнува́ння вчинив на землі!
9 He doynge awei batels til to the ende of the lond; schal al to-brese bouwe, and schal breke togidere armuris, and schal brenne scheldis bi fier.
Аж до кра́ю землі припиняє Він ві́йни, ламає Він лука й торо́щить списа, палить огнем колесни́ці!
10 Yyue ye tent, and se ye, that Y am God; Y schal be enhaunsid among hethene men; and Y schal be enhaunsid in erthe.
„Вгамуйтесь та знайте, що Бог Я, піднесу́сь між наро́дами, піднесу́сь на землі!“
11 The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
