Psalms 46
1 To the ouercomere, the song of the sones `of Chore, `for yongthis. Oure God, thou art refuyt, and vertu; helpere in tribulacions, that han founde vs greetly.

2 Therfor we schulen not drede, while the erthe schal be troblid; and the hillis schulen be borun ouer in to the herte of the see.
Elohim ist uns Zuflucht und Schutz, / Ein Beistand in Nöten, reichlich bewährt.
3 The watris of hem sowneden, and weren troblid; hillis weren troblid togidere in the strengthe of hym.
Drum fürchten wir nichts, ob auch wanket die Erde, / Ob Berge stürzen mitten ins Meer,
4 The feersnesse of flood makith glad the citee of God; the hiyeste God hath halewid his tabernacle.
Ob seine Wasser tosen und schäumen, / Von seinem Brausen die Berge erbeben. (Sela)
5 God in the myddis therof schal not be moued; God schal helpe it eerli in the grey morewtid.
Ein Strom ist da: seine Bäche erfreun die Stadt Elohims, / Des Höchsten heilige Wohnung.
6 Hethene men weren disturblid togidere, and rewmes weren bowid doun; God yaf his vois, the erthe was moued.
Elohim weilt dort, sie wanket nicht / Elohim hilft ihr, wenn der Morgen naht.
7 The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
Es toben Völker, es wanken Reiche. / Erschallt sein Donner, so zittert die Erde.
8 Come ye, and se the werkis of the Lord; whiche wondris he hath set on the erthe.
Jahwe der Heerscharen ist mit uns, / Unsre Burg ist der Gott Jakobs. (Sela)
9 He doynge awei batels til to the ende of the lond; schal al to-brese bouwe, and schal breke togidere armuris, and schal brenne scheldis bi fier.
Kommt, schauet die Taten Jahwes: / Er flößt der Erde Entsetzen ein.
10 Yyue ye tent, and se ye, that Y am God; Y schal be enhaunsid among hethene men; and Y schal be enhaunsid in erthe.
Er steuert dem Krieg bis ans Ende der Welt, / Zerbricht den Bogen, zerschlägt den Spieß, / Verbrennt die Wagen mit Feuer.
11 The Lord of vertues is with vs; God of Jacob is oure vptakere.
"Laßt ab und erkennt: ich bin Elohim, / Groß unter den Völkern und groß auf Erden." Jahwe der Heerscharen ist mit uns, / Unsre Burg ist der Gott Jakobs. (Sela)
