Psalms 45
1 To the ouercomere for the lilies, the most loued song of lernyng of the sones of Chore. Myn herte hath teld out a good word; Y seie my workis `to the kyng. Mi tunge is `a penne of a writere; writynge swiftli.
૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; રાગ શોશાન્નિમ; કોરાના દીકરાઓનું (ગીત). માસ્કીલ. પ્રેમ વિષે ગીત. મારું હૃદય ઉત્તમ વિષયથી ભરાઈ ગયું છે; જે શબ્દો મેં રાજાને માટે લખ્યા છે તે હું બોલું છું; મારી જીભ શ્રેષ્ઠ લેખકની કલમ જેવી ચપળ છે.
2 Crist, thou art fairer in schap than the sones of men; grace is spred abrood in thi lippis; therfor God blessid thee withouten ende.
૨તમે માણસ કરતાં વધારે સુંદર છો; તમારા હોઠો કૃપાથી ભરેલા છે; માટે અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે ઈશ્વરે તમને સદાને માટે આશીર્વાદિત કર્યા છે.
3 Be thou gird with thi swerd; on thi hipe most myytili.
૩હે પરાક્રમી, તમે તમારી તલવાર કમરે બાંધો, તમારું ગૌરવ તથા તમારો મહિમા ધારણ કરો.
4 Biholde thou in thi schaplynesse and thi fairnesse; come thou forth with prosperite, and regne thou. For treuthe, and myldenesse, and riytfulnesse; and thi riyt hond schal lede forth thee wondurfuli.
૪સત્ય, નમ્રતા તથા ન્યાયીપણાને અર્થે તમારા પ્રતાપે સવારી કરીને વિજયવંત થાઓ; તમારો જમણો હાથ તમને ભયંકર કૃત્યો શીખવશે.
5 Thi scharpe arowis schulen falle in to the hertis of the enemyes of the kyng; puplis schulen be vndur thee.
૫તમારાં બાણ તીક્ષ્ણ છે; તે રાજાના શત્રુઓના હૃદયને વીંધે છે; તેથી લોકો તમારે શરણે આવે છે.
6 God, thi seete is in to the world of world; the yerde of thi rewme is a yerde of riyt reulyng, `ethir of equite.
૬ઈશ્વરે તમારા માટે આપેલા રાજ્યાસન સનાતન છે; તમારો રાજદંડ તે યથાર્થ રાજદંડ છે.
7 Thou louedist riytfulnesse, and hatidist wickidnesse; therfor thou, God, thi God, anoyntide thee with the oile of gladnesse, more than thi felowis.
૭તમને ન્યાયીપણા પર પ્રીતિ છે અને દુષ્ટતા પ્રતિ તિરસ્કાર છે; માટે ઈશ્વર, તમારા ઈશ્વર, તમારા સાથીઓ કરતાં તમને સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ ગણીને આનંદના તેલથી અભિષિક્ત કર્યા છે.
8 Mirre, and gumme, and cassia, of thi clothis, of the `housis yuer;
૮તમારા બધાં વસ્ત્રો બોળ, અગર તથા તજની સુગંધથી મહેંકે છે; હાથીદાંતના મહેલોમાં તારનાં વાજિંત્રો તમને આનંદ પમાડે છે.
9 of whiche the douytris of kyngis delitiden thee. A queen stood nyy on thi riyt side in clothing ouergildid; cumpassid with dyuersitee.
૯રાજાની દીકરીઓની મધ્યે કેટલીક સ્ત્રીઓ આદરમાન છે; તમારે જમણે હાથે ઓફીરના સોનાથી શણગારેલા રાણી ઊભાં રહે છે.
10 Douyter, here thou, and se, and bowe doun thin eere; and foryete thi puple, and the hows of thi fadir.
૧૦હે દીકરી, સાંભળ, કાન ધર; તારા લોકોને અને તારા પિતાના ઘરને ભૂલી જા.
11 And the kyng schal coueyte thi fairnesse; for he is thi Lord God, and thei schulen worschipe hym.
૧૧આ રીતે રાજા તારા સૌંદર્ય પર મોહિત થશે; તે તારા સ્વામી છે; તું તેમની સેવા કર.
12 And the douytris of Tire in yiftis; alle the riche men of the puple schulen biseche thi cheer.
૧૨તૂરની દીકરી ભેટ લઈને ત્યાં આવશે; ધનવાન લોકો તારી કૃપાને માટે તને કાલાવાલા કરશે.
13 Al the glorye of that douyter of the kyng is with ynne in goldun hemmes;
૧૩રાજપુત્રી મહેલમાં સંપૂર્ણ ગૌરવવાન છે; તેનાં વસ્ત્રોમાં સોનાના તાર વણેલા છે.
14 sche is clothid aboute with dyuersitees. Virgyns schulen be brouyt to the kyng aftir hir; hir neiyboressis schulen be brouyt to thee.
૧૪શણગારેલાં વસ્ત્રો પહેરીને તેને રાજા પાસે લઈ જવામાં આવશે; કુમારિકાઓ, જે તેની સાથીઓ છે, તે તેની પાછળ ચાલે છે, તેઓને તમારી પાસે લાવવામાં આવશે.
15 Thei schulen be brouyt in gladnesse, and ful out ioiyng; thei schulen be brouyt in to the temple of the kyng.
૧૫તેઓને આનંદથી તથા ઉત્સાહથી લાવવામાં આવશે; તેઓ રાજમહેલમાં પ્રવેશ કરશે.
16 Sones ben borun to thee, for thi fadris; thou schalt ordeyne hem princes on al erthe.
૧૬તમારા પિતૃઓને સ્થાને તમારા દીકરાઓ આવશે, જેઓને તમે આખા દેશ પર રાજકુમાર ઠરાવશો.
17 Lord, thei schulen be myndeful of thi name; in ech generacioun, and in to generacioun. Therfor puplis schulen knouleche to thee withouten ende; and in to the world of world.
૧૭હું પેઢી દરપેઢી તમારા નામનું સ્મરણ રખાવીશ; તેથી લોકો સદાકાળ સુધી તમારી આભારસ્તુતિ કરશે.
