Psalms 38
1 `The salm of Dauid, to bythenke on the sabat. Lord, repreue thou not me in thi strong veniaunce; nether chastice thou me in thin ire.
दावीद का एक स्तोत्र. अभ्यर्थना. याहवेह, अपने क्रोध में मुझे न डांटिए और न अपने कोप में मुझे दंड दीजिए.
2 For thin arowis ben fitchid in me; and thou hast confermed thin hond on me.
क्योंकि आपके बाण मुझे लग चुके हैं, और आपके हाथ के बोझ ने मुझे दबा रखा है.
3 Noon helthe is in my fleisch fro the face of thin ire; no pees is to my boonys fro the face of my synnes.
आपके प्रकोप ने मेरी देह को स्वस्थ नहीं छोड़ा; मेरे ही पाप के परिणामस्वरूप मेरी हड्डियों में अब बल नहीं रहा.
4 For my wickidnessis ben goon ouer myn heed; as an heuy birthun, tho ben maad heuy on me.
मैं अपने अपराधों में डूब चुका हूं; एक अतिशय बोझ के समान वे मेरी उठाने की क्षमता से परे हैं.
5 Myn heelid woundis weren rotun, and ben brokun; fro the face of myn vnwisdom.
मेरे घाव सड़ चुके हैं, वे अत्यंत घृणास्पद हैं यह सभी मेरी पापमय मूर्खता का ही परिणाम है.
6 I am maad a wretche, and Y am bowid doun til in to the ende; al dai Y entride sorewful.
मैं झुक गया हूं, दुर्बलता के शोकभाव से अत्यंत नीचा हो गया हूं; सारे दिन मैं विलाप ही करता रहता हूं.
7 For my leendis ben fillid with scornyngis; and helthe is not in my fleisch.
मेरी कमर में जलती-चुभती-सी पीड़ा हो रही है; मेरी देह अत्यंत रुग्ण हो गई है.
8 I am turmentid, and maad low ful greetli; Y roride for the weilyng of myn herte.
मैं दुर्बल हूं और टूट चुका हूं; मैं हृदय की पीड़ा में कराह रहा हूं.
9 Lord, al my desire is bifor thee; and my weilyng is not hid fro thee.
प्रभु, आपको यह ज्ञात है कि मेरी आकांक्षा क्या है; मेरी आहें आपसे छुपी नहीं हैं.
10 Myn herte is disturblid in me, my vertu forsook me; and the liyt of myn iyen `forsook me, and it is not with me.
मेरे हृदय की धड़कने तीव्र हो गई हैं, मुझमें बल शेष न रहा; यहां तक कि मेरी आंखों की ज्योति भी जाती रही.
11 My frendis and my neiyboris neiyiden; and stoden ayens me. And thei that weren bisidis me stoden afer;
मेरे मित्र तथा मेरे साथी मेरे घावों के कारण मेरे निकट नहीं आना चाहते; मेरे संबंधी मुझसे दूर ही दूर रहते हैं.
12 and thei diden violence, that souyten my lijf. And thei that souyten yuels to me, spaken vanytees; and thouyten gilis al dai.
मेरे प्राणों के प्यासे लोगों ने मेरे लिए जाल बिछाया है, जिन्हें मेरी दुर्गति की कामना है; मेरे विनाश की योजना बना रहे हैं, वे सारे दिन छल की बुरी युक्ति रचते रहते हैं.
13 But Y as a deef man herde not; and as a doumb man not openynge his mouth.
मैं बधिर मनुष्य जैसा हो चुका हूं, जिसे कुछ सुनाई नहीं देता, मैं मूक पुरुष-समान हो चुका हूं, जो बातें नहीं कर सकता;
14 And Y am maad as a man not herynge; and not hauynge repreuyngis in his mouth.
हां, मैं उस पुरुष-सा हो चुका हूं, जिसकी सुनने की शक्ति जाती रही, जिसका मुख बोलने के योग्य नहीं रह गया.
15 For, Lord, Y hopide in thee; my Lord God, thou schalt here me.
याहवेह, मैंने आप पर ही भरोसा किया है; कि प्रभु मेरे परमेश्वर उत्तर आपसे ही प्राप्त होगा.
16 For Y seide, Lest ony tyme myn enemyes haue ioye on me; and the while my feet ben mouyd, thei spaken grete thingis on me.
मैंने आपसे अनुरोध किया था, “यदि मेरे पैर फिसलें, तो उन्हें मुझ पर हंसने और प्रबल होने का सुख न देना.”
17 For Y am redi to betyngis; and my sorewe is euere in my siyt.
अब मुझे मेरा अंत निकट आता दिख रहा है, मेरी पीड़ा सतत मेरे सामने बनी रहती है.
18 For Y schal telle my wickidnesse; and Y schal thenke for my synne.
मैं अपना अपराध स्वीकार कर रहा हूं; मेरे पाप ने मुझे अत्यंत व्याकुल कर रखा है.
19 But myn enemyes lyuen, and ben confermed on me; and thei ben multiplyed, that haten me wickidli.
मेरे शत्रु प्रबल, सशक्त तथा अनेक हैं; जो अकारण ही मुझसे घृणा करते हैं.
20 Thei that yelden yuels for goodis, backbitiden me; for Y suede goodnesse.
वे मेरे उपकारों का प्रतिफल अपकार में देते हैं; जब मैं उपकार करना चाहता हूं, वे मेरा विरोध करते हैं.
21 My Lord God, forsake thou not me; go thou not awei fro me.
याहवेह, मेरा परित्याग न कीजिए; मेरे परमेश्वर, मुझसे दूर न रहिए.
22 Lord God of myn helthe; biholde thou in to myn help.
तुरंत मेरी सहायता कीजिए, मेरे प्रभु, मेरे उद्धारकर्ता.
