Psalms 34
1 To Dauid, whanne he chaungide his mouth bifor Abymalech, and he `droof out Dauid, `and he yede forth. I schal blesse the Lord in al tyme; euere his heriyng is in my mouth.
Louvarei ao Senhor em todo o tempo: o seu louvor estará continuamente na minha bocca.
2 Mi soule schal be preisid in the Lord; mylde men here, and be glad.
A minha alma se gloriará no Senhor: os mansos o ouvirão e se alegrarão.
3 Magnyfie ye the Lord with me; and enhaunse we his name into it silf.
Engrandecei ao Senhor comigo; e juntos exaltemos o seu nome.
4 I souyte the Lord, and he herde me; and he delyueride me fro alle my tribulaciouns.
Busquei ao Senhor, e elle me respondeu: livrou-me de todos os meus temores.
5 Neiye ye to him, and be ye liytned; and youre faces schulen not be schent.
Olharam para elle, e foram illuminados; e os seus rostos não ficaram confundidos.
6 This pore man criede, and the Lord herde hym; and sauyde hym fro alle hise tribulaciouns.
Clamou este pobre, e o Senhor o ouviu, e o salvou de todas as suas angustias.
7 The aungel of the Lord sendith in the cumpas of men dredynge hym; and he schal delyuere hem.
O anjo do Senhor acampa-se em redor dos que o temem, e os livra.
8 Taaste ye, and se, for the Lord is swete; blessid is the man, that hopith in hym.
Provae, e vêde que o Senhor é bom; bemaventurado o homem que n'elle confia.
9 Alle ye hooli men of the Lord, drede hym; for no nedynesse is to men dredynge hym.
Temei ao Senhor, vós, os seus sanctos, pois não teem falta alguma aquelles que o temem.
10 Riche men weren nedi, and weren hungri; but men that seken the Lord schulen not faile of al good.
Os filhos dos leões necessitam e soffrem fome, mas aquelles que temem ao Senhor não teem falta de coisa alguma.
11 Come, ye sones, here ye me; Y schal teche you the drede of the Lord.
Vinde, meninos, ouvi-me: eu vos ensinarei o temor do Senhor.
12 Who is a man, that wole lijf; loueth to se good daies?
Quem é o homem que deseja a vida, que quer largos dias para vêr o bem?
13 Forbede thi tunge fro yuel; and thi lippis speke not gile.
Guarda a tua lingua do mal, e os teus labios de fallarem o engano.
14 Turne thou awei fro yuel, and do good; seke thou pees, and perfitli sue thou it.
Aparta-te do mal, e faze o bem: procura a paz, e segue-a.
15 The iyen of the Lord ben on iust men; and hise eeren ben to her preiers.
Os olhos do Senhor estão sobre os justos, e os seus ouvidos attentos ao seu clamor.
16 But the cheer of the Lord is on men doynge yuels; that he leese the mynde of hem fro erthe.
A face do Senhor está contra os que fazem o mal, para desarreigar da terra a memoria d'elles.
17 Just men cryeden, and the Lord herde hem; and delyueride hem fro alle her tribulaciouns.
Os justos clamam, e o Senhor os ouve, e os livra de todas as suas angustias.
18 The Lord is nyy hem that ben of troblid herte; and he schal saue meke men in spirit.
Perto está o Senhor dos que teem o coração quebrantado, e salva os contritos de espirito.
19 Many tribulaciouns ben of iust men; and the Lord schal delyuere hem fro alle these.
Muitas são as afflicções do justo, mas o Senhor o livra de todas.
20 The Lord kepith alle the boonys of hem; oon of tho schal not be brokun.
Elle lhe guarda todos os seus ossos; nem sequer um d'elles se quebra.
21 The deth of synneris is werst; and thei that haten a iust man schulen trespasse.
A malicia matará o impio, e os que aborrecem o justo serão desolados.
22 The Lord schal ayenbie the soulis of hise seruauntis; and alle, that hopen in him, schulen not trespasse.
O Senhor resgata a alma dos seus servos, e nenhum dos que n'elle confiam será desolado.
