Psalms 34
1 To Dauid, whanne he chaungide his mouth bifor Abymalech, and he `droof out Dauid, `and he yede forth. I schal blesse the Lord in al tyme; euere his heriyng is in my mouth.
Psalm Dawida, gdy zmienił swoje zachowanie przed Abimelekiem i wypędzony przez niego, odszedł. Będę błogosławił PANA w każdym czasie, jego chwała zawsze [będzie] na moich ustach.
2 Mi soule schal be preisid in the Lord; mylde men here, and be glad.
Moja dusza będzie się chlubić PANEM; pokorni [to] usłyszą i rozradują się.
3 Magnyfie ye the Lord with me; and enhaunse we his name into it silf.
Uwielbiajcie PANA ze mną i wspólnie wywyższajmy jego imię.
4 I souyte the Lord, and he herde me; and he delyueride me fro alle my tribulaciouns.
Szukałem PANA, a on mnie wysłuchał i uwolnił od wszystkich mych trwóg.
5 Neiye ye to him, and be ye liytned; and youre faces schulen not be schent.
Spojrzeli na niego i rozpromienili się, a ich oblicza nie doznały wstydu.
6 This pore man criede, and the Lord herde hym; and sauyde hym fro alle hise tribulaciouns.
Ten oto biedak wołał, a PAN wysłuchał i wybawił go ze wszystkich jego utrapień.
7 The aungel of the Lord sendith in the cumpas of men dredynge hym; and he schal delyuere hem.
Anioł PANA rozbija obóz dokoła tych, którzy się go boją, i wybawia ich.
8 Taaste ye, and se, for the Lord is swete; blessid is the man, that hopith in hym.
Skosztujcie i zobaczcie, jak dobry jest PAN: Błogosławiony człowiek, który mu ufa.
9 Alle ye hooli men of the Lord, drede hym; for no nedynesse is to men dredynge hym.
Bójcie się PANA, jego święci, bo niczego nie braknie tym, którzy się go boją.
10 Riche men weren nedi, and weren hungri; but men that seken the Lord schulen not faile of al good.
Lwięta cierpią niedostatek i głód, lecz szukającym PANA nie zabraknie żadnego dobra.
11 Come, ye sones, here ye me; Y schal teche you the drede of the Lord.
Chodźcie, synowie, słuchajcie mnie; nauczę was bojaźni PANA.
12 Who is a man, that wole lijf; loueth to se good daies?
Który człowiek chce [długo] żyć i pragnie [wiele] dni, aby móc oglądać dobro?
13 Forbede thi tunge fro yuel; and thi lippis speke not gile.
Strzeż swego języka od zła, a swoich warg od podstępnej mowy.
14 Turne thou awei fro yuel, and do good; seke thou pees, and perfitli sue thou it.
Odwróć się od zła i czyń dobrze, szukaj pokoju i dąż do niego.
15 The iyen of the Lord ben on iust men; and hise eeren ben to her preiers.
Oczy PANA [są zwrócone] na sprawiedliwych, a jego uszy [nachylone] na ich wołanie;
16 But the cheer of the Lord is on men doynge yuels; that he leese the mynde of hem fro erthe.
[Lecz] oblicze PANA [jest] przeciwko złoczyńcom, aby pamięć o nich wymazać z ziemi.
17 Just men cryeden, and the Lord herde hem; and delyueride hem fro alle her tribulaciouns.
Wołają [sprawiedliwi], a PAN wysłuchuje ich i uwalnia od wszelkich trudności.
18 The Lord is nyy hem that ben of troblid herte; and he schal saue meke men in spirit.
Bliski [jest] PAN skruszonym w sercu i wybawia złamanych na duchu.
19 Many tribulaciouns ben of iust men; and the Lord schal delyuere hem fro alle these.
Liczne [są] cierpienia sprawiedliwego, ale PAN uwalnia go od nich wszystkich.
20 The Lord kepith alle the boonys of hem; oon of tho schal not be brokun.
On strzeże wszystkich jego kości; ani jedna z nich nie będzie złamana.
21 The deth of synneris is werst; and thei that haten a iust man schulen trespasse.
Zło zabija niegodziwego i ci, którzy nienawidzą sprawiedliwego, będą zniszczeni;
22 The Lord schal ayenbie the soulis of hise seruauntis; and alle, that hopen in him, schulen not trespasse.
PAN odkupi dusze swoich sług i nie będą zniszczeni ci, którzy mu ufają.
