Psalms 33
1 Ye iust men, haue fulli ioye in the Lord; presyng togidere bicometh riytful men.
Người công chính, hãy hân hoan trong Chúa Hằng Hữu; xứng hợp thay, người ngay thẳng ca tụng Ngài.
2 Knouleche ye to the Lord in an harpe; synge ye to hym in a sautre of ten strengis.
Hãy ca ngợi Chúa bằng đàn hạc; hãy tấu nhạc cho Ngài bằng đàn thập huyền.
3 Synge ye to hym a newe song; seie ye wel salm to hym in criyng.
Hãy hát cho Chúa một bài ca mới; hòa tấu tuyệt diệu và reo mừng.
4 For the word of the Lord is riytful; and alle hise werkis ben in feithfulnesse.
Vì lời Chúa Hằng Hữu là chân lý, Chúa thành tín trong mọi việc Ngài làm.
5 He loueth merci and doom; the erthe is ful of the merci of the Lord.
Chúa ưa điều công minh chính đáng; khắp đất tràn ngập tình thương không phai tàn của Ngài.
6 Heuenes ben maad stidfast bi the word of the Lord; and `al the vertu of tho bi the spirit of his mouth.
Lời Chúa Hằng Hữu sáng lập vũ trụ, hơi thở Ngài tạo muôn triệu tinh tú.
7 And he gaderith togidere the watris of the see as in a bowge; and settith depe watris in tresours.
Ngài góp nước thành đại dương, chứa đầy các bể sâu.
8 Al erthe drede the Lord; sotheli alle men enhabitynge the world ben mouyd of hym.
Cả thế giới hãy kính sợ Chúa Hằng Hữu, mọi người trần gian phải khiếp kinh.
9 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt.
Chúa phán, vũ trụ liền xuất hiện! Vạn vật tồn tại theo lệnh Ngài.
10 The Lord distrieth the counsels of folkis, forsothe he repreueth the thouytis of puplis; and he repreueth the counsels of prynces.
Chúa Hằng Hữu phá hỏng kế hoạch các nước, Ngài tiêu diệt dự định muôn dân.
11 But the counsel of the Lord dwellith with outen ende; the thouytis of his herte dwellen in generacioun and into generacioun.
Nhưng kế hoạch Chúa Hằng Hữu tồn tại mãi mãi; ý định Ngài bất diệt muôn đời.
12 Blessid is the folk, whose Lord is his God; the puple which he chees into eritage to hym silf.
Phước cho nước nào tôn Đức Chúa Trời là Chúa Hằng Hữu, và dân tộc được Ngài chọn làm cơ nghiệp Ngài.
13 The Lord bihelde fro heuene; he siy alle the sones of men.
Chúa Hằng Hữu từ trời nhìn xuống thấy tất cả loài người.
14 Fro his dwellyng place maad redi bifor; he bihelde on alle men, that enhabiten the erthe.
Từ ngai Chúa ngự Ngài quan sát tất cả dân trên thế gian.
15 Which made syngulerli the soules of hem; which vndurstondith all the werkis of hem.
Chúa tạo linh hồn nhân loại, vậy Ngài biết mọi việc họ làm.
16 A kyng is not sauyd bi myche vertu; and a giaunt schal not be sauyd in the mychilnesse of his vertu.
Không vua nào nhờ binh hùng tướng mạnh mà thắng trận; sức mạnh nào cứu được anh hùng.
17 An hors is false to helthe; forsothe he schal not be sauyd in the habundaunce, `ether plentee, of his vertu.
Lúc lâm nguy chiến mã thành vô dụng— dù mạnh đến đâu cũng chẳng giải thoát được ai.
18 Lo! the iyen of the Lord ben on men dredynge hym; and in hem that hopen on his merci.
Nhưng mắt Chúa Hằng Hữu nhìn người tin kính và người trông mong đức nhân từ không phai tàn của Ngài.
19 That he delyuere her soules fro deth; and feede hem in hungur.
Chúa giải thoát họ khỏi chết và cho họ sống sót qua cơn đói kém.
20 Oure soule suffreth the Lord; for he is oure helpere and defendere.
Chúng con trông đợi Chúa Hằng Hữu. Đấng cứu hộ, khiên thuẫn chở che.
21 For oure herte schal be glad in him; and we schulen haue hope in his hooli name.
Lòng chúng con hân hoan trong Chúa, vì chúng con tin cậy Danh Thánh Ngài.
22 Lord, thi merci be maad on vs; as we hopiden in thee.
Nguyện tình thương Chúa Hằng Hữu bao phủ chúng con, như chúng con hằng hy vọng nơi Ngài.
