Psalms 33
1 Ye iust men, haue fulli ioye in the Lord; presyng togidere bicometh riytful men.
நீதிமான்களே, நீங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் யெகோவாவுக்குத் துதி பாடுங்கள்; அவரைத் துதிப்பது நேர்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தகுதியானது.
2 Knouleche ye to the Lord in an harpe; synge ye to hym in a sautre of ten strengis.
யாழ் இசைத்து யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்; பத்து நரம்பு வீணையினால் அவருக்கு இசை பாடுங்கள்.
3 Synge ye to hym a newe song; seie ye wel salm to hym in criyng.
அவருக்குப் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள்; திறமையாக இசைத்து மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்.
4 For the word of the Lord is riytful; and alle hise werkis ben in feithfulnesse.
யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை சத்தியமும், அவருடைய செயல்களெல்லாம் உண்மையானதுமாய் இருக்கிறது.
5 He loueth merci and doom; the erthe is ful of the merci of the Lord.
யெகோவா நீதியையும் நியாயத்தையும் விரும்புகிறார்; பூமி முழுவதுமே அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.
6 Heuenes ben maad stidfast bi the word of the Lord; and `al the vertu of tho bi the spirit of his mouth.
யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தையினாலே வானங்கள் படைக்கப்பட்டன, அவருடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தினால் வான்கோள்கள் யாவும் படைக்கப்பட்டன.
7 And he gaderith togidere the watris of the see as in a bowge; and settith depe watris in tresours.
அவர் கடல்நீரைச் ஜாடிகளில் சேர்த்துவைக்கிறார்; ஆழத்தை களஞ்சியங்களில் வைக்கிறார்.
8 Al erthe drede the Lord; sotheli alle men enhabitynge the world ben mouyd of hym.
பூமி அனைத்தும் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுவதாக; உலகின் மக்கள் அனைவரும் அவரிடம் பயபக்தியாய் இருப்பார்களாக.
9 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt.
ஏனெனில் அவர் சொல்ல, உலகம் உண்டாயிற்று; அவர் கட்டளையிட்டார், அது உறுதியாய் நின்றது.
10 The Lord distrieth the counsels of folkis, forsothe he repreueth the thouytis of puplis; and he repreueth the counsels of prynces.
யெகோவா நாடுகளின் திட்டங்களை முறியடிக்கிறார்; அவர் மக்களின் நோக்கங்களைத் தடுக்கிறார்.
11 But the counsel of the Lord dwellith with outen ende; the thouytis of his herte dwellen in generacioun and into generacioun.
ஆனால் யெகோவாவின் ஆலோசனை என்றென்றும் உறுதியாகவும், அவருடைய இருதயத்தின் நோக்கங்கள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் நிலைநிற்கும்.
12 Blessid is the folk, whose Lord is his God; the puple which he chees into eritage to hym silf.
எந்த மக்கள் யெகோவாவைத் தங்கள் இறைவனாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ, எந்த மக்களை அவர் தமது உரிமைச்சொத்தாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டாரோ அவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
13 The Lord bihelde fro heuene; he siy alle the sones of men.
யெகோவா பரலோகத்திலிருந்து கீழே நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எல்லா மனிதர்களையும் காண்கிறார்;
14 Fro his dwellyng place maad redi bifor; he bihelde on alle men, that enhabiten the erthe.
தமது சிங்காசனத்திலிருந்து பூமியில் வாழும் அனைவரையும் கவனிக்கிறார்.
15 Which made syngulerli the soules of hem; which vndurstondith all the werkis of hem.
அனைவருடைய இருதயங்களையும் உருவாக்கும் யெகோவா, அவர்கள் செய்யும் எல்லாவற்றையும் கவனிக்கிறார்.
16 A kyng is not sauyd bi myche vertu; and a giaunt schal not be sauyd in the mychilnesse of his vertu.
எந்த ஒரு அரசனும் தனது படைபலத்தால் காப்பாற்றப்படுவதில்லை; எந்த ஒரு போர்வீரனும் தனது மிகுந்த வலிமையினால் தப்புவதுமில்லை.
17 An hors is false to helthe; forsothe he schal not be sauyd in the habundaunce, `ether plentee, of his vertu.
விடுதலை பெறுவதற்கு குதிரையை நம்புவது வீண்; அதற்கு மிகுந்த வலிமை இருந்தபோதிலும், அதினால் காப்பாற்ற முடியாது.
18 Lo! the iyen of the Lord ben on men dredynge hym; and in hem that hopen on his merci.
யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பில் நம்பிக்கையாய் இருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் அவருடைய கண்கள் நோக்கமாயிருந்து,
19 That he delyuere her soules fro deth; and feede hem in hungur.
மரணத்திலிருந்து அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார், பஞ்சத்தில் அவர்களை உயிரோடே காக்கிறார்.
20 Oure soule suffreth the Lord; for he is oure helpere and defendere.
நாங்கள் யெகோவாவுக்காக எதிர்பார்த்துக் காத்திருக்கிறோம்; அவரே எங்களுக்கு உதவியும் எங்கள் கேடயமுமாய் இருக்கிறார்.
21 For oure herte schal be glad in him; and we schulen haue hope in his hooli name.
நாங்கள் அவருடைய பரிசுத்த பெயரில் நம்பிக்கையாய் இருப்பதால் எங்கள் இருதயங்கள் அவரில் மகிழ்கின்றன.
22 Lord, thi merci be maad on vs; as we hopiden in thee.
யெகோவாவே, நாங்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியே, உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு எங்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக.
