Psalms 33
1 Ye iust men, haue fulli ioye in the Lord; presyng togidere bicometh riytful men.
Furahini katika Yahwe, ninyi wenye haki; kusifu kwa wenye haki kwa faa sana.
2 Knouleche ye to the Lord in an harpe; synge ye to hym in a sautre of ten strengis.
Mshukuruni Bwana kwa kinubi; mwimbieni sifa kwa kinubi chenye nyuzi kumi.
3 Synge ye to hym a newe song; seie ye wel salm to hym in criyng.
Mwimbieni yeye wimbo mpaya; pigeni kwa ustadi na muimbe kwa furaha.
4 For the word of the Lord is riytful; and alle hise werkis ben in feithfulnesse.
Kwa kuwa maneno ya Mungu ni ya hakika, na kila afanyacho ni haki.
5 He loueth merci and doom; the erthe is ful of the merci of the Lord.
Yeye hupenda haki na kutenda kwa haki. Dunia imejaa uaminifu wa agano la Yahwe.
6 Heuenes ben maad stidfast bi the word of the Lord; and `al the vertu of tho bi the spirit of his mouth.
Kwa neno la Yahwe mbingu ziliumbwa, na nyota zote ziliumbwa kwa pumzi ya mdomo wake.
7 And he gaderith togidere the watris of the see as in a bowge; and settith depe watris in tresours.
Yeye huyakusanya maji ya baharini kama rundo; naye huiweka bahari katika ghala.
8 Al erthe drede the Lord; sotheli alle men enhabitynge the world ben mouyd of hym.
Basi ulimwengu wote umwogope Yahwe; wenyeji wote wa ulimwengu wamuhofu yeye.
9 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt.
Kwa maana yeye alisema, na ikafanyika; aliamuru, na ikasimama mahali pake.
10 The Lord distrieth the counsels of folkis, forsothe he repreueth the thouytis of puplis; and he repreueth the counsels of prynces.
Yahwe huvunja muungano wa mataifa; naye huishinda mipango ya wanadamu.
11 But the counsel of the Lord dwellith with outen ende; the thouytis of his herte dwellen in generacioun and into generacioun.
Mipango ya Yahwe husimama milele, mipango ya moyo wake ni kwa ajili ya vizazi vyote.
12 Blessid is the folk, whose Lord is his God; the puple which he chees into eritage to hym silf.
Limebarikiwa taifa ambalo Mungu wao ni Yahwe, watu ambao yeye amewachagua kama warithi wake.
13 The Lord bihelde fro heuene; he siy alle the sones of men.
Yahwe anatazama kutoka mbinguni; yeye huona watu wote.
14 Fro his dwellyng place maad redi bifor; he bihelde on alle men, that enhabiten the erthe.
Kutokea mahali ambapo yeye anaishi, huwatazama wote waishio juu ya nchi.
15 Which made syngulerli the soules of hem; which vndurstondith all the werkis of hem.
Yeye anaye iumba mioyo yao na kuyaona matendo yao yote.
16 A kyng is not sauyd bi myche vertu; and a giaunt schal not be sauyd in the mychilnesse of his vertu.
Hakuna mfalme anayeokolewa na jeshi kubwa; shujaa haokolewi na nguvu zake nyingi.
17 An hors is false to helthe; forsothe he schal not be sauyd in the habundaunce, `ether plentee, of his vertu.
Farasi sio salama kwa ajili ya ushindi; ijapokuwa nguvu zake ni nyingi, hawezi kuokoa.
18 Lo! the iyen of the Lord ben on men dredynge hym; and in hem that hopen on his merci.
Tazama, macho ya Yahwe yako kwa wale wanao mhofu yeye, wale wanao litumainia agano lake takatifu
19 That he delyuere her soules fro deth; and feede hem in hungur.
kuwaokoa maisha yao na mauti na kuwaweka hai wakati wa jaa.
20 Oure soule suffreth the Lord; for he is oure helpere and defendere.
Sisi tunamngoja Yahwe, yeye ni msaada wetu na ngao yetu.
21 For oure herte schal be glad in him; and we schulen haue hope in his hooli name.
Mioyo yetu hufurahia ndani yake, kwa kuwa tunaamini katika jina lake takatifu.
22 Lord, thi merci be maad on vs; as we hopiden in thee.
Yahwe, agano lako takatifu, liwe pamoja nasi tuwekapo tumaini letu katika wewe.
