Psalms 33
1 Ye iust men, haue fulli ioye in the Lord; presyng togidere bicometh riytful men.
Rejwi ak lajwa nan SENYÈ a, O moun ladwati yo! Lwanj bèl lè l sòti nan moun ki dwat.
2 Knouleche ye to the Lord in an harpe; synge ye to hym in a sautre of ten strengis.
Bay remèsiman a SENYÈ avèk gita. Chante lwanj a Li menm avèk ap dis kòd.
3 Synge ye to hym a newe song; seie ye wel salm to hym in criyng.
Chante a Li menm yon chan tounèf. Jwe ak kapasite e fò avèk yon gwo kri lajwa.
4 For the word of the Lord is riytful; and alle hise werkis ben in feithfulnesse.
Paske pawòl SENYÈ a dwat. Tout zèv Li yo fèt avèk fidelite.
5 He loueth merci and doom; the erthe is ful of the merci of the Lord.
Li renmen ladwati avèk jistis. Latè ranpli avèk lanmou dous SENYÈ a.
6 Heuenes ben maad stidfast bi the word of the Lord; and `al the vertu of tho bi the spirit of his mouth.
Avèk pawòl SENYÈ a syèl yo te fèt: pa souf a bouch Li, tout lame syèl yo.
7 And he gaderith togidere the watris of the see as in a bowge; and settith depe watris in tresours.
Li ranmase tout dlo lanmè yo ansanm pou fè yon gwo pil. Li fè tout pwofondè yo kouche fè kay depo.
8 Al erthe drede the Lord; sotheli alle men enhabitynge the world ben mouyd of hym.
Kite tout latè krent SENYÈ a. Kite tout (sila) ki rete nan mond lan kanpe etone nèt pa Li menm.
9 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt.
Paske Li te pale e mond lan te fèt. Li te kòmande e li te kanpe fèm.
10 The Lord distrieth the counsels of folkis, forsothe he repreueth the thouytis of puplis; and he repreueth the counsels of prynces.
SENYÈ a ranvèse konsèy a nasyon yo. Li anile pwojè a pèp yo.
11 But the counsel of the Lord dwellith with outen ende; the thouytis of his herte dwellen in generacioun and into generacioun.
Konsèy SENYÈ a kanpe jis pou tout tan, e pwojè a kè Li yo de jenerasyon an jenerasyon.
12 Blessid is the folk, whose Lord is his God; the puple which he chees into eritage to hym silf.
Beni se nasyon ki gen Bondye kon SENYÈ yo,
13 The Lord bihelde fro heuene; he siy alle the sones of men.
pèp ke Li te chwazi pou pwòp eritaj Li a. SENYÈ a gade depi nan syèl la. Li wè tout fis a lòm yo.
14 Fro his dwellyng place maad redi bifor; he bihelde on alle men, that enhabiten the erthe.
Soti nan abitasyon Li an, Li veye sou tout (sila) ki rete sou latè yo.
15 Which made syngulerli the soules of hem; which vndurstondith all the werkis of hem.
Li menm ki fòme kè a yo tout, Li menm ki konprann tout zèv yo.
16 A kyng is not sauyd bi myche vertu; and a giaunt schal not be sauyd in the mychilnesse of his vertu.
Wa a pa sove pa yon lame pwisan. Yon gèrye pa delivre pa gran fòs Li.
17 An hors is false to helthe; forsothe he schal not be sauyd in the habundaunce, `ether plentee, of his vertu.
Yon cheval se yon fo espwa pou viktwa a, ni li p ap delivre pèsòn ak pwisans li.
18 Lo! the iyen of the Lord ben on men dredynge hym; and in hem that hopen on his merci.
Veye byen, zye SENYÈ a sou (sila) ki krent Li yo, sou (sila) ki mete espwa yo nan lanmou dous Li a,
19 That he delyuere her soules fro deth; and feede hem in hungur.
pou delivre nanm pa yo devan lanmò, e kenbe yo vivan nan gwo grangou.
20 Oure soule suffreth the Lord; for he is oure helpere and defendere.
Nanm nou ap tann SENYÈ a. Se Li menm ki sekou nou ak boukliye nou.
21 For oure herte schal be glad in him; and we schulen haue hope in his hooli name.
Paske kè nou rejwi nan Li, akoz nou mete konfyans nou nan sen non Li.
22 Lord, thi merci be maad on vs; as we hopiden in thee.
Kite lanmou dous Ou, O SENYÈ, vin poze sou nou, selon esperans ke nou te mete nan Ou a.
