Psalms 29
1 The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.
Cantique de David. Fils de Dieu, rendez à l'Éternel, rendez à l'Éternel l'honneur et la gloire!
2 Brynge ye to the Lord glorie and onour; brynge ye to the Lord glorie to his name; herie ye the Lord in his hooli large place.
Rendez à l'Éternel l'honneur dû à son nom! Adorez l'Éternel avec une pompe sainte!
3 The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.
La voix de l'Éternel retentit sur les eaux, le Dieu glorieux fait gronder le tonnerre; on entend l'Éternel sur les grandes eaux.
4 The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.
La voix de l'Éternel est puissante, la voix de l'Éternel est majestueuse;
5 The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.
la voix de l'Éternel brise les cèdres, l'Éternel brise les cèdres du Liban,
6 And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.
et Il les fait bondir, comme les jeunes taureaux, et le Liban et le Sirion, comme les buffles.
7 The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;
La voix de l'Éternel darde des flammes de feu;
8 the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.
la voix de l'Éternel ébranle le désert, l'Éternel ébranle le désert de Kadès.
9 The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.
La voix de l'Éternel fait avorter les biches, elle dépouille les forêts; et dans Son palais tout s'écrie: Gloire!
10 The Lord makith to enhabite the greet flood; and the Lord schal sitte kyng with outen ende.
L'Éternel sur son trône présidait au déluge, et sur son trône l'Éternel régnera à jamais.
11 The Lord schal yyue vertu to his puple; the Lord schal blesse his puple in pees.
L'Éternel donnera la force à son peuple; l'Éternel bénira son peuple de la paix.
