Psalms 29
1 The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.
Psaume de David. Célébrez l’Eternel, ô fils de Dieu! Célébrez sa gloire et sa puissance.
2 Brynge ye to the Lord glorie and onour; brynge ye to the Lord glorie to his name; herie ye the Lord in his hooli large place.
Rendez hommage au nom glorieux de l’Eternel, adorez l’Eternel dans son superbe sanctuaire.
3 The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.
La voix de l’Eternel retentit sur les eaux, le Dieu de gloire tonne, l’Eternel, sur les grandes eaux.
4 The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.
La voix de l’Eternel éclate avec force, la voix de l’Eternel, avec majesté.
5 The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.
La voix de l’Eternel brise les cèdres, c’est l’Eternel qui met en pièces les cèdres du Liban,
6 And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.
qui les fait bondir comme de jeunes taureaux, le Liban et le Sirion comme de jeunes buffles.
7 The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;
La voix de l’Eternel fait jaillir des flammes ardentes;
8 the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.
la voix de l’Eternel fait trembler le désert, l’Eternel fait trembler le désert de Kadêch.
9 The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.
La voix de l’Eternel fait enfanter les biches, elle dépouille les forêts; dans son palais tous de s’écrier: "Gloire!"
10 The Lord makith to enhabite the greet flood; and the Lord schal sitte kyng with outen ende.
L’Eternel trônait lors du déluge; ainsi l’Eternel trône en roi pour l’éternité.
11 The Lord schal yyue vertu to his puple; the Lord schal blesse his puple in pees.
Que l’Eternel donne la force à son peuple! Que l’Eternel bénisse son peuple par la paix!
