Psalms 29

1 The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.

Davidin Psalmi. Tuokaat Herralle, te väkevät, tuokaat Herralle kunnia ja väkevyys.

2 Brynge ye to the Lord glorie and onour; brynge ye to the Lord glorie to his name; herie ye the Lord in his hooli large place.

Tuokaat Herralle hänen nimensä kunnia: kumartakaat Herraa pyhässä kaunistuksessa.

3 The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.

Herran ääni käy vetten päällä: kunnian Jumala pauhaa, suurten vetten päällä.

4 The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.

Herran ääni käy voimassa: Herran ääni käy suuressa kunniassa.

5 The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.

Herran ääni särkee sedripuut, ja Herra särkee sedripuut Libanonissa.

6 And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.

Hän hyppäyttää heitä niinkuin vasikan, sekä Libanonin että Sirionin, niinkuin nuoren yksisarvisen.

7 The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;

Herran ääni leikkaa niinkuin tulen liekki.

8 the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.

Herran ääni häälyttää korven, ja Herra liikuttaa Kadeksen korven.

9 The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.

Herran ääni saattaa peurat poikimaan, ja paljastaa metsät: ja hänen templissänsä pitää koko hänen joukkonsa sanoman hänelle kunnian.

10 The Lord makith to enhabite the greet flood; and the Lord schal sitte kyng with outen ende.

Herra istuu vedenpaisumisen päällä: Herra pysyy Kuninkaana ijankaikkisesti.

11 The Lord schal yyue vertu to his puple; the Lord schal blesse his puple in pees.

Herra antaa kansallensa väkevyyden: Herra siunaa kansaansa rauhalla.
