Psalms 24

1 The song of Dauid. The erthe and the fulnesse therof is `the Lordis; the world, and alle that dwellen therynne `is the Lordis.

दावीद की रचना. एक स्तोत्र. पृथ्वी और पृथ्वी में जो कुछ भी है, सभी कुछ याहवेह का ही है. संसार और वे सभी, जो इसमें निवास करते हैं, उन्हीं के हैं;

2 For he foundide it on the sees; and made it redi on floodis.

क्योंकि उन्हीं ने महासागर पर इसकी नींव रखी तथा जलप्रवाहों पर इसे स्थिर किया.

3 Who schal stie in to the hil of the Lord; ethir who schal stonde in the hooli place of hym?

कौन चढ़ सकेगा याहवेह के पर्वत पर? कौन खड़ा रह सकेगा उनके पवित्र स्थान में?

4 The innocent in hondis, and in cleene herte; whiche took not his soule in veyn, nether swoor in gile to his neiybore.

वही, जिसके हाथ निर्मल और हृदय शुद्ध है, जो मूर्तियों पर भरोसा नही रखता, जो झूठी शपथ नहीं करता.

5 `This man schal take blessyng of the Lord; and mercy of God his helthe.

उस पर याहवेह की आशीष स्थायी रहेगी. परमेश्वर, उसका छुड़ाने वाला, उसे धर्मी घोषित करेंगे.

6 This is the generacioun of men sekynge hym; of men sekynge the face of God of Jacob.

यही है वह पीढ़ी, जो याहवेह की कृपादृष्टि खोजने वाली, जो आपके दर्शन की अभिलाषी है, हे याकोब के परमेश्वर!

7 Ye princes, take vp youre yatis, and ye euerelastynge yatis, be reisid; and the kyng of glorie schal entre.

प्रवेश द्वारो, ऊंचे करो अपने मस्तक; प्राचीन किवाड़ो, ऊंचे हो जाओ, कि महातेजस्वी महाराज प्रवेश कर सकें.

8 Who is this kyng of glorie? the Lord strong and myyti, the Lord myyti in batel.

यह महातेजस्वी राजा हैं कौन? याहवेह, तेजी और समर्थ, याहवेह, युद्ध में पराक्रमी.

9 Ye princes, take vp youre yatis, and ye euerlastynge yatis, be reisid; and the kyng of glorie schal entre.

प्रवेश द्वारों, ऊंचा करो अपने मस्तक; प्राचीन किवाड़ों, ऊंचे हो जाओ, कि महातेजस्वी महाराज प्रवेश कर सकें.

10 Who is this kyng of glorie? the Lord of vertues, he is the kyng of glorie.

यह महातेजस्वी राजा कौन है? सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह! वही हैं महातेजस्वी महाराजा.
