Psalms 23

1 `The salm, ether the song of Dauid. The Lord gouerneth me, and no thing schal faile to me;

দাউদের গীত। সদাপ্রভু আমার পালক, আমার অভাব হবে না।

2 in the place of pasture there he hath set me. He nurschide me on the watir of refreischyng;

তিনি সবুজ চারণভূমিতে আমাকে শয়ন করান, তিনি শান্ত জলের ধারে আমাকে নিয়ে যান,

3 he conuertide my soule. He ledde me forth on the pathis of riytfulnesse; for his name.

তিনি আমার প্রাণ সঞ্জীবিত করেন। নিজের নামের মহিমায় তিনি আমাকে সঠিক পথে পরিচালনা করেন।

4 For whi thouy Y schal go in the myddis of schadewe of deeth; Y schal not drede yuels, for thou art with me. Thi yerde and thi staf; tho han coumfortid me.

যদিও আমি হেঁটে যাই অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন উপত্যকার মধ্য দিয়ে, আমি কোনও অমঙ্গলের ভয় করব না, কারণ তুমি আমার সঙ্গে আছ; তোমার লাঠি ও তোমার ছড়ি, সেগুলি আমাকে সান্ত্বনা দেয়।

5 Thou hast maad redi a boord in my siyt; ayens hem that troblen me. Thou hast maad fat myn heed with oyle; and my cuppe, `fillinge greetli, is ful cleer.

আমার শত্রুদের উপস্থিতিতে তুমি আমার সামনে এক ভোজসভায় আয়োজন করেছ। তুমি আমার মাথা তেল দিয়ে অভিষিক্ত করেছ; আমার পানপাত্র উপচে পড়ে।

6 And thi merci schal sue me; in alle the daies of my lijf. And that Y dwelle in the hows of the Lord; in to the lengthe of daies.

নিশ্চয় তোমার মঙ্গল ও প্রেম আমার পিছু নেবে আমার জীবনের সব দিন পর্যন্ত, এবং চিরকাল আমি সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে বসবাস করব।
