Psalms 20

1 To victorie, the salm of Dauid. The Lord here thee in the dai of tribulacioun; the name of God of Jacob defende thee.

Pou direktè koral la; Yon sòm David Ke SENYÈ a kapab reponn ou nan jou gran twoub la! Ke non Bondye Jacob la kapab kenbe ou ansekirite an wo!

2 Sende he helpe to thee fro the hooli place; and fro Syon defende he thee.

Ke Li kapab voye bay ou èd soti nan sanktiyè a, epi bay ou soutyen soti nan Sion.

3 Be he myndeful of al thi sacrifice; and thi brent sacrifice be maad fat.

Ke Li kapab sonje tout ofrann sereyal ou yo, ke Li twouve tout ofrann brile ou yo byen akseptab!

4 Yyue he to thee aftir thin herte; and conferme he al thi counsel.

Ke Li kapab bay ou dezi a kè ou, e akonpli tout plan ou yo!

5 We schulen be glad in thin helthe; and we schulen be magnyfied in the name of oure God.

Nou va chante avèk jwa akoz viktwa ou. Nan non Bondye nou an, nou va monte drapo nou yo. Ke SENYÈ a kapab akonpli tout priyè ou yo.

6 The Lord fille alle thin axyngis; nowe Y haue knowe, that the Lord hath maad saaf his crist. He schal here hym fro his hooly heuene; the helthe of his riyt hond is in poweris.

Alò, mwen konnen ke SENYÈ a va delivre moun onksyone pa Li a. Li va reponn li soti nan syèl sen Li an, avèk delivrans pwisan men dwat Li a.

7 Thes in charis, and these in horsis; but we schulen inwardli clepe in the name of oure Lord God.

Genyen kèk ki fè konfyans nan cha yo, e kèk nan cheval yo, Men nou va fè konfyans nan non SENYÈ a, Bondye nou an.

8 Thei ben boundun, and felden doun; but we han rise, and ben reisid.

Yo te pliye e yo te tonbe, men nou te leve e nou te kanpe dwat.

9 Lord, make thou saaf the kyng; and here thou vs in the dai in which we inwardli clepen thee.

Delivre nou O SENYÈ! Ke Wa a kapab reponn nou nan jou ke nou rele Non Li an.
