Psalms 17
1 The preier of Dauid. Lord, here thou my riytfulnesse; biholde thou my preier. Perseuye thou with eeris my preier; not maad in gileful lippis.
Maombi ya Daudi. Sikia ombi langu kwa ajili ya haki, Yawhe; uusikilize mwito wangu wa msaada. Uyasikilize maombi yangu yatokayo katika midomo isiyo na udanganyifu.
2 Mi doom come `forth of thi cheer; thin iyen se equite.
Uthibitisho wangu na uje kutoka uweponi mwako; macho yako na yaone kile kilicho sahihi!
3 Thou hast preued myn herte, and hast visitid in niyt; thou hast examynyd me bi fier, and wickidnesse is not foundun in me.
Kama utaujaribu moyo wangu, kama utakuja kwangu wakati wa usiku, wewe utanitakasa na hautapata mipango yeyote ya uovu; mdomo wangu hautavunja sheria.
4 That my mouth speke not the werkis of men; for the wordis of thi lippis Y haue kept harde weies.
Kama kwa matendo ya binadamu, ni katika neno la midomo yako ya kuwa nimejiepusha na njia za wahalifu.
5 Make thou perfit my goyngis in thi pathis; that my steppis be not moued.
Mwenendo wangu umeshikila kwa umakini mwenendo wako; miguu yangu haija teleza.
6 I criede, for thou, God, herdist me; bowe doun thin eere to me, and here thou my wordis.
Nakuita wewe, kwa kuwa unanijibu, Mungu; geizia sikio lako kwangu na usikilize ninapo ongea.
7 Make wondurful thi mercies; that makist saaf `men hopynge in thee.
Onyesha uaminifu wa agano lako katika namna ya ajabu, wewe uokoaye kwa mkono wa haki yako wale wanao kukimbilia wewe kutoka kwa adui zao.
8 Kepe thou me as the appil of the iye; fro `men ayenstondynge thi riyt hond. Keuere thou me vndur the schadewe of thi wyngis;
Unilinde kama mboni ya jicho lako; unifiche katika kivuli cha mbawa zako
9 fro the face of vnpitouse men, that han turmentid me. Myn enemyes han cumpassid my soule;
kutoka katika uwepo wa waovu ambao wananitusi, adui zangu wanizungukao.
10 thei han closide togidere her fatnesse; the mouth of hem spak pride.
Wao hawana huruma kwa yeyote; midomo yao huongea kwa majivuno.
11 Thei castiden me forth, and han cumpassid me now; thei ordeyneden to bowe doun her iyen in to erthe.
Wao wame zizunguka hatua zangu. Wamekaza macho yao wanishambulie mpaka ardhini.
12 Thei, as a lioun maad redi to prey, han take me; and as the whelp of a lioun dwellynge in hid places.
Wao ni kama mfano wa hasira ya simba mawindoni. Ni kama simba kijana anapotokea mafichoni.
13 Lord, rise thou vp, bifor come thou hym, and disseyue thou hym; delyuere thou my lijf fro the `vnpitouse,
Inuka, Yahwe! Uwashambulie! Uwaangushe chini kwenye nyuso zao! Uyaokoe maisha yangu kutokana na waovu kwa upanga wako!
14 delyuere thou thi swerd fro the enemyes of thin hond. Lord, departe thou hem fro a fewe men of `the lond in the lijf of hem; her wombe is fillid of thin hid thingis. Thei ben fillid with sones; and thei leften her relifis to her litle children.
Uniokoe kutoka kwa watu hawa kwa mkono wako, Yahwe, kutoka kwa watu wa dunia hii ambao utajiri wao ni maisha haya pekee! Wewe utayajaza matumbo ya wale uwathaminio na utajiri; watakuwa na watoto wengi na wataacha utajiri wao kwa watoto wao.
15 But Y in riytfulnesse schal appere to thi siyt; Y schal be fillid, whanne thi glorie schal appere.
Bali mimi, nitauona uso wako katika haki; Nitashuhudiwa, pale nitakapo amka, na macho yako.
